In the interrogation room, Natasha sat across from Green Arrow and looked at him. "...That's what happened. Someone wanted to frame the president, and they even shot at me. Given that only you in the office and the Justice League know about my special relationship with the president, don't you have anything to say?"
"How could you think I wanted to assassinate you?" Green Arrow looked as though he had heard something utterly absurd. "You're not the president's lover, so I wouldn't kill you. If you were, I'd be even less likely to."
"But I caused an accident involving the CEO of Quinn Group."
Green Arrow shook his head. "Even then, I wouldn't take revenge on you. I know you were following orders. Blaming a murder on the blade is the greatest disrespect to the dead."
"What do you think is going on?"
"They're after the president, without a doubt." Green Arrow placed both arms on the table. "The key is why they dragged you into it. They seem to think you can have a major impact on the president. For example, if you died, he would rush back. Only then would there be any point in targeting you."
