"Thank you so much. You've really been a huge help." Main Universe Batman hugged Night Master, then shook Gorilla Detective's hand. "Without the magical creatures you found, the construction of the pillars wouldn't have gone nearly this quickly."
"Don't say that, Batman. We should be thanking you." Night Master looked at Batman sincerely. "You have no idea what this means to the magical world. You saved the lives of almost every magician. Once the magic defense network is complete, Earth will never again be threatened by those mysterious entities. This is practically a miracle."
"But we still can't let our guard down," Main Universe Batman said. "The magic defense network needs long-term maintenance and updates before it can become stable. There will probably still be all kinds of problems during this initial period. We need to make sure no one takes advantage of any weaknesses."
Just then, Strange walked over and said, "The pillar in the Batcave has been completed. It will serve as the control center of Earth's magic defense network. Now we can channel in the energy and activate the entire defensive network."
Main Universe Batman took a deep breath. He pressed the communicator on his wrist. "Justice League, assemble."
About half an hour later, the entire Justice League, along with Night Master, Constantine, Zatanna, and many other magicians, formed a circle around a spherical platform. Main Universe Batman took out the gemstone containing compressed magical energy and poured all of it into the sphere.
As the light grew brighter and brighter, a beam shot into the sky. In an instant, nine points of light distributed evenly across Earth lit up in succession, and the golden shield network connected point to point, forming a vast surface. As the final ray descended, the blue planet slowly opened its eyes.
