Injustice Superman, sitting beside him, rolled his eyes dramatically. "Ten Supermen have already come to rescue you this past week. If you still don't show yourself, the day I return to Battleworld will be the day I die."
"Fine. But they won't think it's me going; they'll think it's you. Still, that's a good thing. Consider me Superman's resident representative to Batman."
Injustice Superman let out a long sigh. His experiences over the past week had truly been horrific. Ever since the Main Universe exposed what he had done, Supermen from all sorts of universes had taken turns coming here to "rescue" Batman.
Injustice Superman had never been particularly strong. Main Universe Superman could beat him senseless with ease. Most Supermen were not much weaker than Main Universe Superman, and being chased down and beaten by that crowd had left him utterly unable to fight back.
It would have been one thing if they came one at a time. If he couldn't beat them, he could at least run. But whether they had coordinated it or not, they always came in groups of three or four, leaving him unable to fight or flee. In the end, he had to call Injustice Batman over to bail him out.
Fortunately, no Superman could bring himself to hurt Batman. As long as Injustice Batman stood there, even if they knew Batman might be under mind control, they simply could not do anything to him. All they could do was stand far away and curse Injustice Superman out.
