"All right, sisters. That's enough about Batman's situation. How are things on Superman's side? Have they shown any unusual behavior lately?" Diana asked her counterparts seated around the round table at the Battleworld base.
"More than that, I want to know where the Wonder Woman from the Injustice League universe went."
Diana looked at the Wonder Woman who had spoken. Through fluctuations in divine power, she could tell which universe each Wonder Woman came from. The one who had just spoken was Main Universe Wonder Woman.
"She..." Diana hesitated. Of course, she knew where that Wonder Woman had gone. After all, she and The Flash had pulled a switcheroo back then, using one of the two versions of him from different timelines to replace the Wonder Woman of that universe, nearly stabbing Injustice Batman to death with a sword.
They had not killed the Wonder Woman of the Injustice League universe. Instead, they had handed her over to Injustice Batman and Injustice Superman to deal with. Injustice Batman had not killed her either. Before gaining magical power, he had temporarily locked her in a cage capable of blocking magical power; after gaining magical power, he had sealed her in the Underworld. Naturally, she could not attend the meeting.
But Diana knew she could not reveal the truth. Wonder Woman did not have as many convoluted positions as Batman and Superman did. They preferred to see one another as sisters, just as they had on Themyscira.
Most Wonder Women had a hard time imagining just how outrageous the Wonder Woman from the Injustice League was. They would probably only think Injustice Batman and Injustice Superman were cold and heartless, and might even try to rescue her. That would be troublesome.
