The superheroes did not dare let their guard down. They had seen how formidable the gods were. Divine power flickered around Wonder Woman's hands, The Flash became a streak of golden light, Martian Hunter took up a fighting stance, the Green Lanterns tightened their formation, and Shazam raised one hand and shouted, "Shazam!!!"
What arrived before the people did was a bolt of lightning that seemed to have formed at the dawn of the Big Bang. In an instant, light flared brilliantly, and the entire universe suddenly lit up as though they had been thrown into the heart of a star. The brightness and heat were overwhelming. Around the lightning also echoed a desolate resonance of newborn power from the very origin of the universe.
Wonder Woman lowered the arm shielding her eyes. Her expression darkened as she said in an extremely grave tone, "One of them is a True God."

These powers have nothing to do with societies built by intelligent life, but are natural forces that exist whether life is present or not. These gods may not necessarily excel at combat, but their power is more destructive than anyone else's."
