Strange and Schiller were walking toward the venue. As they walked, Schiller asked, "So the five Doctor Stranges who died were all relatively young?"
"Yes. Some of them had only been exposed to magic for a short time. By our universe's standards, they were still magic apprentices. Although they had inherited quite a few magical artifacts from The Ancient One, their understanding and control of Magic Power were not proficient enough. After being struck by Green Lantern energy, they could not quickly adjust the energy circuits within their bodies, causing a loss-of-magic phenomenon. As a result, they could not open portals to escape when the enemy arrived."
Schiller sighed softly. "They did not have a good grasp of their own strength. Then again, without personally taking part in a Multiverse war, it is impossible to imagine the intensity of this kind of conflict. And the Green Lantern commander on the other side was decisive enough—he opened with saturation bombardment. It was indeed effective."
"Professor X told me that Main Universe Doctor Strange is not in very good mental condition." Strange pursed his lips, seemingly finding it a little embarrassing. "He may have been rattled by something. I do not know whether he can attend this meeting."
"Oh?" Schiller turned to Strange. "He was rattled? What happened?"
"One Doctor Strange died right in front of him. You know, the one whose neck was twisted by that big gray guy. It was quite a miserable death. But according to the follow-up messages I sent to ask them about it, it actually did not hurt much. Once it is determined that there is no possibility of survival, they immediately respawn on Battleworld. The criteria are strict, so he did not suffer too much."
"I do not think he would feel such overwhelming guilt
