"Thor, we reviewed the report you submitted regarding the deaths of the two Gods of Thunder. Both died to that final thin-wire trap. Did they fail to see it, or was there nowhere to dodge?"
Main Universe Thor thought carefully, tilted his head, and spoke into the microphone. "Both. They had never seen that kind of trap before and didn't know how lethal it was. That may have caused them to make the wrong tactical decisions while advancing. Put simply, they thought running into it wouldn't be a big deal. So while fighting, they didn't deliberately avoid it. That ultimately led to their deaths."
"While they were in danger, did you have any opportunity to help them?"
Main Universe Thor made a wait gesture. He turned to confer with the other Gods of Thunder, exchanged a look with Loki, then shook his head. "I'm afraid not. Aside from those thin wires, we were also under attack from the enemy's heroes. The frontline battle was extremely intense. We had no capacity to help others, nor should anyone be expected to abandon their tactical objectives to save people who were unlikely to be saved. Of course, that is my understanding. You may see it as lacking humanitarian spirit, but it is the general consensus in Asgard."
"All right. Next question." Captain America looked at Loki again. "Why did you choose to enter the battle at that time?"
"Because we had confirmed that the mages had lost their ability to fight." Loki sat in the front row near the microphone. "The essence of a counter-encirclement plan is coordination from within and without. If there's no pressure pushing outward from inside, then external pressure alone cannot squeeze inward. When the external pressure reaches its limit, that is naturally when the center bursts into bloom.
