Next came the voting phase. Greed sat in the waiting area, bored out of his mind. He figured it should be his turn now. After all, he was more famous than Pride, and plenty of people should have been looking forward to seeing what he could do.
What he did not know was that people from his universe down below were already canvassing for votes. "Vote for the other one, vote for the other one! Don't vote for Doctor!" Peter tugged one person over after another, urging them to vote for Pride. He also shouted, "If you vote for Doctor and he blows up the arena, there won't be a later match to watch!"
Those who had still been hesitating immediately voted for Pride upon hearing that. Thinking about it, the Schiller who always wore a white coat was clearly more likely to pull something wild. Either he would use underhanded tricks in some Dungeon to skip stages and send the plot completely off the rails, or he would blow everyone up just to defeat an opponent. Nothing that fell into his hands ever ended well. If they let his team compete first and he pulled off some huge stunt that blew up the entire arena, they would not get to watch the later matches. They had finally gotten the chance to come here, so that simply would not do.
Thus, precisely because Greed was so notorious, no one voted for him. They planned to save him for last. The next match would therefore be Magneto's team against Pride's team.
Magneto took a deep breath. Charles from their universe had previously visited Greed's universe and even worked at a hospital there. Magneto had heard of Schiller's great reputation from Charles, so now that they were truly about to face him,
