"Hey, Bruce, you really need to do me a favor." Diana walked out of the Justice League base while speaking on the phone. "Pull up the surveillance footage around the Museum. You know, not the official surveillance—the kind you have."

"No problem, ma'am. Who's your target?"

"All suspicious vehicles." Diana thought for a moment. "Focus on vans and midsize vehicles, but don't overlook smaller cars if they seem suspicious."

Diana knew her request was rather unreasonable—so vague it was almost useless. But she knew Batman could do it. Sure enough, Bruce said, "All right, I'll check now. There are quite a few roads around there, and traffic is heavy. It'll probably take three hours..."

"Okay, I'll wait for your news." Diana hung up. She felt that was already quite good. As Bruce had said, the Metropolis Museum was in the city center, and last night had been the final night of the Christmas break. Plenty of people had seized the last bit of the holiday to party, so traffic had been extremely heavy. If Bruce could sort through it all in three hours, he might as well have had three heads and six arms. She could not expect more.

But then Diana thought of something else. Although the robbers might have acted in the early hours, when there were fewer people around, Metropolis was a city that never slept. Even then, there would still have been plenty of people on the streets. Could there have been witnesses who noticed something unusual?

With that thought, Diana hurried to the police station. After she explained the situation, the police did not hold back and began investigating the nearby streets. There were only a few bars in the area, all rather upscale, and their patrons were mostly regulars.
