"The Justice League. Yes, they saved the world. I heard they even put a protective shield around Earth, which counts as quite the great feat. But if demons and angels could be dealt with that easily, humanity wouldn't keep repeating the same mistakes again and again."

Schiller nodded lightly, agreeing with Constantine's assessment. Even Marvel's Earth's magic defense network, in truth, had never completely kept out every demon god. An old-school Lord of Dimensions like Mephisto could be said to have already entered a symbiotic relationship with human civilization. Although angels and demons would not easily lay hands on the Main Universe, Constantine clearly would not think that way. The situation in his own universe was too terrible. Angels and demons invaded the mortal world without any bottom line, creating large numbers of half-angels and half-demons, and the mortal world had already become the battlefield for their contests. It was perfectly normal that he didn't trust those beings.
"You don't want to stay at the Justice League base?" Schiller asked.
"It's not safe enough here," Constantine said. "Especially when it comes to defenses
