Gray Mist, a mysterious Symbiote created by Knull, the God of Symbiotes. At first, Schiller had believed this Symbiote might have been created by Knull to help him escape his imprisonment.
But now, it seemed that this mysterious Symbiote's abilities had far surpassed merely helping Knull break out of prison.
Still, Schiller could imagine that when Knull created this special Symbiote, he might have harbored greater ambitions. For instance, he might have wanted a more powerful body, or to transform his life form and elevate himself into a higher being.
Schiller did not know what kind of life form Knull, a Chaos Demon God, considered perfect, but Gray Mist now seemed infinitely close to that standard.
What kind of life form was the most perfect?
That question was difficult to answer definitively, but Schiller felt Gray Mist's life form was already very close to perfection because it possessed more possibilities than any other form of life. This existence, with almost no weaknesses, was not its endpoint, but its starting point.

Of course, that had only been Gray Mist's diet during its infancy. At that time, it had still retained some traits of ordinary Symbiotes and was interested in certain special substances produced by the brain. But later, it became increasingly picky.
