At the center of the Mind Storm, even with the Helmet that isolated psychic abilities, Magneto could still hear the White Queen's furious roar. He sighed, knowing what had to come would come in the end, but he could only face it alone. Professor X was not suited to appear at a time like this. Emma would want to kill him.
A glittering figure smashed through the window and stopped in front of Magneto. All the crystal glass shards flew up and shot toward him. Magneto waved a hand and said, somewhat helplessly, "Let's not bother with these little tricks, Emma."
"Little tricks?! If you hadn't truly shed blood for mutantkind, Erik, I'd use my crystal shards to slice your head off!!!"
The White Queen was a blonde woman with tremendous presence. She was tall and powerfully built, with very typical Germanic features, her lines so hard they almost seemed masculine, and every movement carried the aura of someone in power. When she was this furious, she looked like an exploding star, so dazzling people could hardly open their eyes.
"What did you and Charles promise me back then?! You said you would build a new utopia for mutants, and what did I say at the time? I said you were daydreaming. Haven't we failed enough times?! Weren't Genosha and the mutant federation lesson enough?!"
