"Not that I don't want to do it. I can't," Doctor Strange said. "If I could still perform surgery, I wouldn't have gone off to study magic, would I?"
"Wait." Iron Man stepped forward and looked at Doctor Strange. "You have to try, Stephen. Didn't you hear him? That mutant may very well have key information about the lab!"
Doctor Strange's brows drew together. He realized that every Avenger was looking at him. He was visibly upset, his expression darkening as if angered that they were all forcing him to tear open old wounds.
Schiller knew there was little time left, so he could only use strong medicine. He cleared his throat and said, "Looks like the Strange from our universe was right after all."
"What did he say?" Doctor Strange immediately turned his head.
"You really are a wimp, Mr. God Has No Hands."
Magneto abruptly turned his head, looking at the magical storm rising over Krakoa. He narrowed his eyes and was just about to fly out the window when a figure wreathed in dense magical power charged inside.
Schiller walked in through the door on the other side and pointed Doctor Strange toward the operating room. Expressionless, Doctor Strange strode in.
Magneto stared in some shock at the direction where he had disappeared. Schiller waited outside the operating room, leaning against the doorframe with his arms folded, and said, "Have Professor X find a way to erase or dull his memory of his hands being injured."
"Why?" Magneto asked.
"There's a psychological component to why he can't perform surgery. Remove that first."
"What about the rest?" Magneto asked. "The causes besides the psychological ones? Those won't be so easy to solve, will they?"
