Generally speaking, a universe would only be removed from the main universe after a new owner had been found. But the Multiverse Schiller inhabited was rather special. It had not reached any licensing agreement, nor had any other supreme being taken it over.

OAA had abandoned management of this universe in order to avoid copyright disputes. In theory, that made Eternity the highest administrator of this ungoverned universe.

Schiller had originally intended to trouble OAA, because he knew that if he wanted additional compensation, there was no use going after the programmers; he had to find the chief planner. But OAA had cut ties so quickly that he was no longer the planner for this project.

Normally, when a game project was transferred to another company, it would receive a new planner. But Schiller's Multiverse had not been transferred at all—it had simply been kicked out. No one had been parachuted in as the new planner, so the highest-ranking existing being could only be promoted into the role.

Eternity had gloriously taken on this responsibility. Though he did not know it yet, as the foundation of the universe, he had nominally assumed the position of chief planner and would soon gain the authority to become the supreme being of this universe.

The continuity gem Deadpool possessed turned his will into reality. Combined with Deadpool's teleportation belt, it sent him directly to the supreme being of this universe.
