Intervention
On the sticky, ashen sea,
A special vessel is sailing at high speed, faster than most cruise ships, but its specifications are far from those of a cruise ship; it is more like a fully sealed speedboat.
The actual number of passengers allowed is no more than ten.
It looks like a long, rectangular Metal Container with the Hell Symbol representing the Grand Monastery engraved on its surface.
They sailed in a straight line without any light from the lighthouse, seemingly unconcerned about the threat from their ancestors.
This is the special vessel used by the Grand Monastery to hunt down sinners hiding in the Hell's Dark Side; it can achieve ultra-fast ocean crossings, greatly improving the efficiency of the pursuit.
However, the metal ship currently crossing the sea has another purpose.
They successfully crossed the ocean in just ten hours.
The metal ship did not head to any port in the dark, but instead went to the "Stranding Site".
Having been devoured by the Gate Ancestor, the severely corroded and perforated golden skull cruise ship is stranded on this remote and deserted beach area.
Personnel from the Hell Merchants Guild are en route on another rescue cruise ship, and it is estimated that it will take another half a day.
The metal ship was the first vessel to arrive Bright Side.
The ship docked.
The surface metal immediately opens in a spiral shape.
Before the individuals inside even stepped off the plane, the surrounding Beach Area began to change.
First, cold, sharp spikes emerge from the bottom of the beach, covering an area of over 100 meters. Any creature that steps into this area may trigger the trap and be pierced by the spikes, then hang up high like food.
Following closely behind,
Small creatures that live on the sandy beach, all kinds of crabs, snakes, and land fish with growth structures, all molted or shed their skin.
Beneath the skin or shell are countless newborn eyeballs, peering around.
However, this strange phenomenon only lasted for a few minutes. After confirming that no conscious life was approaching, it subsided and disappeared, and the sand and creatures returned to normal.
Inside the cabin,
The passengers disembarked one after another.
Two feet of different colors and sizes stepped onto the sand.
One of the people's feet was Hole structure, and all of their toenails had been pulled out, leaving tiny holes between the nails, as if something had replaced the toenails and been inserted between the holes.
The other person's feet showed obvious signs of malnutrition, being withered, thin, and faded.
However, there are numerous slit-like structures of varying lengths in the soles, insteps, and ankles, which seem to open like eyes.
One of them reached out and touched the metal ship, and through metal recycling, he directly sucked the entire ship into his body. Throughout the process, his physique did not change, except that he gained a little weight.
Both of them were wrapped in thick clothing, which was quite different from the style of hellish attire and was more like human clothing, such as Investigator Coat.
The clothing was very new, like a hastily made replica, covering a large area of the body except for the soles of the feet and hands, while the face was concealed by the hood.
Any vision that tries to penetrate the hood will be blocked by a strange light, or you will feel a sharp, pricking pain.
If one were to actually infiltrate, one would only be able to glimpse two completely new faces that have undergone forced facelifts, muscle reconstruction, and skeletal reshaping, resembling humans more like Luo Di than the Devil.
One of them looked exactly like Hawkins from the Fifth Hospital.
The other person was a young man wearing glasses.
It was Hawke and Oculus who came here disguised as humans to investigate the shipwreck and try to find Luo Di.
Both entered the golden skull through the corroded opening. The ancient aura remaining inside was still strong, forcing them to wear a mask-like creation, something they had learned from humans, only made of different materials.
The young man approached a door inside the cabin, carefully observing the ancient patterns remaining on it. For a moment, some dust rose up, as if trying to trace the patterns on the surface of his eyes.
Buzz!
A burst of bright light shot out from between his eyes, burning away all the dust.
The young man pushed up his glasses and gave his assessment. "Over the years, the Gate Ancestor has not only not weakened, but has become bigger and stronger—or more accurately, more ancient and more ancient."
Time seems to settle its essence.
These old things are terrifying... even when they're just corpses, they can still get stronger.
Hawke, however, seemed completely unconcerned about the Gate Ancestor's situation. "Quickly search for the whereabouts of Luo Di and the others, and see if they have survived."
"There shouldn't be any major problems... This is the first time I've ever seen Gate Ancestor spit out something he'd swallowed. The swallowing happened within six hours, and with the protection of the merchant guild's cruise ship, there's a high probability he'll survive."
Let me see where they used to live.
The young man's eyes widened. He seemed to be able to see all the footprints inside the cruise ship and clearly identify the individual corresponding to each footprint. He quickly found the cabin of Luo Di and the others.
When he turned his gaze to the guest room...
Scenes from hours earlier were replayed, including how Luo Di and the others responded to the door opening and were drawn in by the knocking on the bathroom door.
You can even see the scene after they were swallowed by their ancestors.
Both Agatha and Karlien were in relatively normal situations; once they realized the problem with "opening the door," they stopped processing it.
They relied on the nuns' physical strength and special tumor crystals to withstand the ancient digestive erosion. Although they suffered considerable injuries, they were all within manageable limits and would not leave any sequelae.
But Luo Di's situation is different.
"Huh? What's this guy doing?! Is he out of his mind?"
When the young man peered into Luo Di's experiences on the cruise ship, he discovered that even after recognizing the fundamental problem of "digesting what you've just discovered," Roddy still chose to delve deeper into the subject.
Going deep meant actively feeding him, and his body suffered extremely severe "ancient digestion." Even his Metal Spine was corroded, his skull was pierced, and a large amount of ancient substances were deposited in his body.
Such severe injuries would kill even a Demon Ascension cultivator.
But Luo Di survived and crawled to the deepest part of the area using his tentacles, an area where even peeping would be dangerous.
The spying footage was severely interfered with at this time.
When the Gate Ancestor's physical form appears,
The young man suddenly felt a cloud of ancient dust settle on the surface of his eyeball, causing excruciating pain that forced him to stop watching the screen. He quickly used his right hand to gouge out the entire eyeball and threw it aside.
The eyeball that fell to the ground turned into dust and ashes in a short time.
Hawke, standing nearby, was slightly surprised. "What did you see? It's rare to see something that can backfire on your eyes."
The youth, who was Oculus in disguise, gently rubbed his eye sockets and soon squeezed out a brand new eyeball, which was filled with excitement and appreciation.
"I was wondering why the Chamber of Commerce's cruise ship was vomited out. I thought it was because the Guild Leader had engraved a high-level seal on the ship, but it turns out it was because of Luo Di."
No wonder he caught the eye of the overlord; his fearless and crazy spirit is really similar.
Luo Di met the true form of the Gate Ancestor! The Gate Ancestor must have intended to spare his life, otherwise this guy would have died long ago! The ancient substances that had settled in his body were stopped by the Gate Ancestor and did not erode him further.
His mutilated body was likely taken away by a cruel joke.
Whether he's dead or alive is unclear... Assuming he's alive, it would be very troublesome. Those pleasure-seeking insects would definitely probe Luo Di's brain and discover this interesting sea-crossing experience, and might use this opportunity to repair his body while trying to change his essence.
After all, their medical standards, especially neurosurgery, are among the top three in True Hell.
Even if Luo Di is exceptional, he can easily be transformed into one of their people without them even realizing it.
After hearing about Luo Di's experience, Hawke immediately made up his mind. "He has Passing through the Gate the gatekeeper before even opening the gate... It seems that very few people in the entire hell have such an experience, which will definitely be of great help to him in opening the gate later."
It seems we made the right decision to come. With Luo Di in such a state, falling into the hands of a villain, his chances of survival are slim. We must intervene proactively.
Oculus, however, was somewhat worried, his fingers nervously rubbing against the surface of his eyeball:
"Intervention~ But the boss said interference is forbidden."
If I'm discovered, Hawke, you'll be fine, but I'll be in big trouble. I'm no match for the boss right now; he'll turn me into eyeball ice cream and eat me in one bite.
Hawke's right hand gently touched it.
"You wouldn't want our newly established corner connection to be cut off, would you?"
Oculos shook his head helplessly. "Then we'll intervene secretly using our current disguised identities. We absolutely mustn't expose our identities!"
"Stealth is a must, and your eyes should be able to let us infiltrate deep into the insect hive. Let's go, it's been a long time since we've been here, let's see how those insects have developed."
"Let's go~ Anyway, one of my students has been taken there, and I'm pretty bored without him working at the lighthouse."
