Sensing a surge in heat in the special cell, prison guards rushed to the scene.
However, when facing Luo Di, a death row inmate, their expressions were quite respectful.
"Mr. Di, is your Hell Journey over?"
"Not yet... but this time I need to try to bring something to the True Hell."
This answer put the prison guards in a difficult position, as it was outside their authority, and death row inmates were prohibited from bringing any "things" with them.
"Mr. Di, you will first be moved to your private cell, and then fill out an application form, which we will then forward directly to you."
Since your last contact with the warden, he has been staying in Hell and hasn't returned.
Currently, an acting warden is in charge of prison management; he should come to discuss things with you in detail later.
"How is the warden?"
"I don't know... No one can go in without his permission. We can only confirm that his condition is normal through the life detector, but his emotions occasionally fluctuate more strongly."
"Okay, then take me to my private cell first."
"According to regulations, Mr. Di, I'll need to trouble you to put on the shackles."
The prison guards were very polite, and Luo Di didn't mind. After being put on a Metal Shackles that could suppress pituitary secretion, he was quickly taken to a cell with his personal metal name card on it.
Aside from the relatively small windows, this is a standard single room.
Luo Di had come with a mission, so he immediately went to the desk, took the soft pencil handed to him by the prison guard, and wrote down what he needed.
He knew all sorts of CDs, televisions, and projectors by heart. Then he wrote down as many filming props as he could on another piece of paper.
This list filled two whole pages. Although Luo Di's identity was special, the prison guards were still horrified by the sheer detail.
Even applying for a pencil to write with is a complicated process for death row inmates here. Judging from Luo Di's attitude, he probably wants to film a movie right here in prison.
"So many...?"
Luo Di said with a serious expression, "This is something I absolutely need. It will directly affect my development in the world I'm connected to. If I can't get it, I might even die there."
"Huh? Dead."
The prison guards couldn't possibly connect these things with the issue of individual life and death, but seeing how serious Luo Di was, they could only nod in agreement.
"Then we'll give this application form to the acting warden and try our best to help you."
"The sooner the better."
"OK."
Luo Di had two plans. If the prison couldn't meet his conditions, he would request a meeting with Yu Ze, who would surely have a way to get these things.
It didn't take long.
A refined blond man found Luo Di's cell, wearing a white shirt with a gold snake tie, white socks peeking out from under his trousers, and expensive leather shoes.
He appears refined, but actually exudes a strange aura of fear.
"Hello, Mr. Di!"
I am the acting warden, Cher Perez.
Because of you, the warden seems to have a chance at a new lease on life. Therefore, I will try my best to help you with your seriously irregular request.
But rules are rules.
I can't apply for all of these things for you at once, but if you can meet other conditions, perhaps we can exchange them for something of equal value.
"What are the conditions?"
"I'm now labeling you a ' High-Value Death Row Inmate.' Once you've dealt with things in hell and returned to our side, I hope you can serve as a representative of murderers on death row and provide some assistance to investigators who come to us for help."
This includes, but is not limited to, case analysis, character profiling, and, if necessary, we may need your help to eliminate some "pests" that are difficult to deal with Bright Side.
"Pest?"
"For example, some Pseudo-Human were created within the Investigation Bureau or its subordinate units."
"Good job."
"Then it's settled! I also need to confirm with you that the things you requested are enough to completely fill your current individual cells, and since inanimate objects like these can't be projected with consciousness, do you need the prison authorities to provide space or other assistance?"
"All I need to do is move the things over; I don't need to do anything else. However, I don't know exactly how long these things will be needed."
"Okay, due to the prison's location, these things need to be delivered from the nearest city, which will take at least half a day. In the meantime, Mr. Di, please rest here. Your meals will be delivered directly to you."
"Um."
With the departure of the acting warden
Luo Di was stretching his body alone in the room when he heard a crack. The Metal Shackles on his wrists had cracked and almost broke off.
"Hmm? This True Hell journey has made my body this strong? I feel like I can fight monster avatars on my own now."
No rush.
Now that my Hell Object has been completely renewed, I will use contact with evil play to fully replenish the brain regions, and the resulting spinal surgery may be very different from before.
It's unclear what the effects of "spine opening" on the three related forces will be; perhaps even "drama" will emerge along with it.
Once everything is settled in Hell, when we officially return here, we'll try to bring Crowcoat and all the Hell Weapon we bought from the Merchant Guild.
"By then, I should be able to get out of prison and start thinking about going to the innermost corner; perhaps I can go deeper into the heart of the place sooner than expected."
Ten hours have passed.
The prison cell door finally opened.
The room reeked of sweat, and there, despite being shackled, Luo Di was doing diamond push-ups, quietly counting to himself.
13012, 13013.
It seems that he has been doing this all this time, using push-ups, which he is most good at, to familiarize himself with his long-lost body and his new spine.
"Leave your things anywhere."
"Yes, Mr. Di."
As the prison guards brought in all the equipment, a crack appeared in Luo Di's right palm, and a large number of brain worms, which had been stored in advance, crawled out.
Although Luo Di wasn't entirely clear on how to use it, he could roughly guess.
Simply place these fat worms with their brain grooves directly on the object you want to replicate. If it's a medium to large-sized piece of equipment, use more of them.
The first brain worm affixed to the surface of the disc appears to have been successfully replicated.
The brain worm curled up into a ball and was taken back into Luo Di's hand. Its skin had also transformed into a material similar to a CD, and its cells were undergoing a special differentiation.
In just half an hour,
The replication of all the instruments was completed, and all the recorded brain worms were retrieved into the body.
Luo Di had no intention of lingering there. He immediately got up and returned to his special cell, preparing to sit on the metal chair that aided in the transmission of consciousness and return to hell.
Just as he was halfway there,
A prison guard responsible for relaying information suddenly arrived.
"Mr. Di, you have a visitor! Registration is complete, and you have entered the outer area of Border City Prison. Do you agree to meet with him?"
Luo Di was a little puzzled. "Hmm? I just arrived here today, and I already have a visitor? I remember that if you want to meet with a death row inmate, you need to make an appointment in advance, right?"
"That's right, the other party made an appointment a day in advance. At that time, we also explained that you were in a special situation and it was highly unlikely that we could meet. We didn't expect you to actually come back here today."
"What a coincidence? Who is this person?"
"A reporter from Newspaper Office in the capital wants to ask you about the Moon City."
"A reporter? Moon City? No time..."
Luo Di didn't want to waste time on this kind of thing, and he certainly didn't want to talk about the Moon City with irrelevant people.
"Okay~ But this reporter from the capital seems to know you quite well, and he specifically asked me to pass on a message... asking you, how does it feel to have your head cut off?"
Click~ Luo Di's newly formed Old Spine straightened instantly.
His wide-open eyes seemed to want to devour the prison guard whole.
"Take me there."
