Sleep ended. His brain satisfied, Luo Di's eyes opened automatically.

He found himself still slumped over the dining table. Through the tablecloth, he caught sight of a pair of incredibly familiar long legs beside him—legs made for running, yet wrapped in black stockings suited to a teacher's profession.

The high heels rested on the floor, both feet suspended in the air as their toes idly played around.

But Luo Di did not raise his head right away. Instead, he carefully recalled the dream he had just had.

He remembered seeming to fall asleep while eating. At first, he had dreamed that he was dining in the cafeteria, and every dish served before him was made entirely of eyeballs.

Suddenly,
