Teacher Guo's list of selected candidates was quite strange.

It was not just Gustav who was confused; many of the teachers present were equally unable to understand the result.

People like Grandmother and Jia Wen had long since prepared to head into the dungeon and had clearly stated their willingness to do so, yet they were not selected in the end.

Meanwhile, Gustav, who had explicitly stated that he did not want to enter the dungeon, had been selected instead.

Just as the conference room fell into an uproar, Teacher Guo stirred the air with his finger. The vortex absorbed every medium through which sound traveled, leaving only his own voice able to spread through it.

"Teachers who wished to enter the dungeon but were not selected may come find me individually after this meeting. I will explain the reasons in detail privately.

"As for Teacher Gustav, who clearly possesses [Qualification], clearly refused to go, and was still selected, I will explain that in detail here.

"You may raise objections at any point during my explanation."

The vortex stopped, and sound was no longer blocked, yet Teacher Guo's voice remained the only one in the conference room.

"Since the founding of Fourth Middle School, Gustav, you have been among the first batch of teachers and have been responsible for teaching Biology Class. According to the teacher satisfaction survey secretly conducted among the students last week, you ranked last.

"Most students believed that you had not put any thought into teaching and were mostly just wasting time. The only somewhat useful instruction was the sensory study concerning tongues at the beginning of the term.

"Furthermore, your class periods have been the shortest. Especially over the past month, your average class time has been perfectly kept at the minimum limit: forty minutes.
