Alice looked very excited.
She was now staring wide-eyed at everything around her with curiosity. If Duncan had not stopped her, she might have already run into the black fog at the far end of the hall. She tugged at Duncan, asking one question after another, from the cables hanging from the ceiling to what lay beyond the nearby Gate. Under Duncan's patient explanations, she had figured out that this place was inside Alice Manor, and that it was a "special Alice Manor." She clearly regarded this incredible experience as a very interesting "adventure."
"Amazing... So this is what Alice Manor looks like," Miss Doll said happily, circling around the platform where she had initially been sitting. "This really is my house? It's so big! It's just a shame I can't move in..."
"First, this is only one part of Alice Manor. Strictly speaking, it should be called one of its halls," Duncan reminded the doll as he watched her circle around. "Second, the other Alice Manor does not look like this. At the corresponding location over there is a garden—I believe different keys open the door to different Alice Manors."
"Oh, oh..." Alice nodded as she listened, though it was impossible to tell whether she had actually understood.
Duncan's gaze soon fell on the drawing board Alice was holding in her arms.
Before Alice's consciousness had awakened, the drawing board had already been clutched in the doll's arms, and she was still holding it instinctively now. Duncan clearly remembered that in "another version of Alice Manor," the drawing board held by the doll in the garden had depicted the scene of Doomsday Redshift. What, then, was depicted on this drawing board here?
"Alice, bring me your drawing board. Let me have a look," he suddenly said.
"The drawing board?"
