| First Appearance | Ch. 554 (as a stated concept); deities and the God Realm are formally explained in Ch. 799 |
Nature
Gods are beings who have comprehended the Great Dao and attained deity-level existence. Their divine souls do not perish with the end of a normal lifespan, though life in the God Realm can be lonely and tedious for solitary deities. 799
A true godhood is defined not merely by combat strength, Divine Power, or Divine Artifacts. A God Position—an embodiment of a deity's Great Dao—is the qualification required to enter and reside within the God Realm. 799 1202
God Realm
The God Realm is a higher Plane created by a Creation Deity and governed by numerous gods. It oversees 108 worlds, including Douluo Continent. Its limited capacity prevents every deity from entering without first obtaining a God Position. 799
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Function | Governs 108 worlds and houses deities. 799 |
| Structure | An incorporeal energy-based realm resembling Faith Power rather than a solid planetary Plane. 1114 |
| Weakness | Its non-material structure lacks the planetary spacetime resistance that protects physical worlds from Time-Space Turbulence. 1114 |
| Evolution | A new God Realm can be created through a sufficiently powerful realm foundation; its formation can generate Immortal Spiritual Energy and produce god positions. 1265 |
Divine Hierarchy
| Rank | Description |
|---|---|
| God Official | Ordinary God Origin Realm; the lowest documented divine rank. 801 |
| Third-Level God | A divine rank above God Official; the Mental Power gap between the two can reach one hundredfold. 801 |
| Second-Level God | A rank above Third-Level God, likewise separated by a hundredfold Mental Power gap. 801 |
| First-Level God | The highest standard divine rank below a God King. 801 |
| God King | A realm exceeding top First-Level Gods in Mental Power and authority. 801 |
| Supreme God King | A unique, universe-level God Position such as the Sun God or Dragon God; its holder must command a God Realm or risk transforming or collapsing the realm they enter. 1124 |
God Positions
A God Position is a concrete manifestation of a Great Dao. Sea God's position, for example, originated from his comprehension of the ocean. 799
Inheritance
A mortal can acquire an existing God Position when its former holder dies pursuing the Great Dao or voluntarily relinquishes it to venture beyond the worlds governed by the God Realm. 799
Main Gods may leave behind Divine Sense and trials to select successors. The Sea God, Asura God, and Spirit Hall's God of Light are identified as deities capable of leaving such inheritances. 1001
Creation
God Positions can also be created rather than inherited:
- Faith Power — Faith can contribute to the creation of a new God Position. 824
- Existing God Realm — A qualified being may establish a God Position within an existing God Realm. 1140
- New God Realm — A God King-level powerhouse may establish a new God Realm and create a position through it; creating the realm before attaining God King status is far more difficult. 1140
- Independent Great Dao — Quan Yi creates the Sun God Position directly in the void through his comprehension of stars and the Sun Laws, without relying on the original God Realm. 1265
Known Gods and God Positions
| God / Position | Notes |
|---|---|
| Sea God | A First-Level God associated with the ocean; offers Quan Yi information in exchange for inheriting his God Position. 799 801 |
| Asura God | A God Realm Enforcer and God King associated with judgment and murderous aura. 801 1204 |
| Rakshasa God | A Level 1 Deity whose power embodies evil and corruption; Bibi Dong inherits this position. 1187 |
| Angel God | The God Position inherited by Qian Renxue with Qian Daoliu's sacrifice. 1211 |
| Sun God | A unique Supreme God Position created by Quan Yi; it connects to countless stars and elevates Quan Yi and Huo Wu to the God King Realm through their Shared God Position. 1265 1266 |
| Dragon God | A unique universe-level God Position tied to the Dragon Clan; Quan Yi later seeks and inherits its power alongside the Sun God Position. 1124 1267 1268 |
| Moon God | Huo Wu's position, whose Yin Yang relationship with the Sun God Position helps balance Quan Yi's conflicting Sun and Dragon God powers. 1268 |
Limitations and Risks
- A God Position amplifies its holder immensely, but a deity's actual power still depends on Divine Power, Divine Sense, physical strength, law comprehension, and suitable Divine Artifacts. 801 1131
- Divine Artifacts alone cannot bridge the gap between a non-god and a true God. 1202
- Existing God Realm rules restrict direct divine interference in the Human Realm. 802
- A unique God King Position cannot peacefully coexist within another independent God Realm; it may force that realm to merge, collapse, or become the holder's domain. 1124 1266
- The clash of multiple Supreme God Positions can damage even a God King's Divine Spark and soul. 1268
Notable Divine Feats
- The Sea God recognizes Quan Yi as an equal after the latter evolves his True God Eyes and demonstrates the ability to observe the God Realm. 799
- The Dragon Phoenix Goddess defeats and seals away roughly half of the Asura God King's Divine Power and a substantial portion of his Divine Sense through preparation and the Twelve Lunar Phases. 1114
- Quan Yi creates the Sun God Position in the void, forms the Sun Domain, and reaches above Level 150—the God King Realm—immediately upon its condensation. 1265 1266
- Quan Yi and Huo Wu lower the dimension of their combined realm so their homeland, allied worlds, and the original God Realm can evolve together rather than being left behind. 1268
