At Blazing Fire Junior Soul Master Academy, he defeated Sun Jie, met Huo Wu, and began cultivating with her in the underground Flame Vein.

• Quan Yi convinced Quan Yue and Su Ling'er to support his physical training plan, then awakened the Blazing Sun Gauntlets with Innate Full Soul Power and discovered his fire immunity and dual-handed dexterity.
• Quan Yi chose the Power Attack System and sought a Fire-attribute Soul Beast with strength traits for a First Soul Ring over five hundred years old, while Quan Yue set conditions for the hunt.
• Quan Yi mastered the Quan Family fist techniques and killed an Exploding Rhino in Bokeno Forest, then absorbed its Soul Ring and gained the skill Rhino's Mark.

Quan Yi and Huo Wu began studying at Blazing Fire Academy and developed their teamwork through repeated combat assessments with Bai Yan. Quan Yi also created new fire-based attacks and began developing Propulsion Mode, preparing to face Bai Yan again.

• Quan Yi discovered that the cave’s Simulated Environment accelerated his Soul Power cultivation, and he encouraged Huo Wu to attend Blazing Fire Academy and train alongside him.
• Quan Yi introduced Huo Wu to his demanding workouts, helped her recover with Soul Beast Meat, and began guiding her training as they became close friends.
• Quan Yi learned about Yu Xiaogang and asked Quan Ying to locate him before joining Huo Wu at Blazing Fire Academy’s entrance ceremony.
• Bai Yan placed Quan Yi and Huo Wu in Freshman Class One, where they declared their cultivation directions and began lessons on fire-attribute Soul Masters.

• Quan Yi and Huo Wu challenged Bai Yan, but she defeated them and taught Quan Yi that even powerful abilities had weaknesses.
• Quan Yi reached Soul Power Level twenty and convinced Yuan Xing and Yuan Fei to join his Ironware Research Institute, where he began developing a firearm.
• Quan Yi reunited with Quan Yue and Su Ling'er, absorbed a Dark Flame Elephant's Soul Ring, and created a powerful Self-Created Soul Skill.
• Quan Yi returned to the academy, showed Huo Wu his Dark Flame Power, and was ordered by Bai Yan to gain combat experience at the Soul Fight Arena.
