  • Wei He studied and trained for over a month, learned about the All-Humans’ Dream Realm Project, and impressed Holv with his combat ability and psionic progress.
  • When pollution beasts emerged from a dark opening above the desert, Wei He joined the recruits in colony suits and watched as two beasts outmaneuvered the fighters.
Chapters 627–651 Vol. 7 Read

Ch. 627Years Later (Part 1)

Wei He learned that Void Mist and the Void Sea had vanished, leaving Bai Ling and other supernatural beings without a way to replenish their power. He left his mountain retreat to seek out the remnants of his old life and found Ding Luoying, a descendant of the Xuanmiao Sect, teaching dance in Quanzhou City.

  • Wei He failed to convert ordinary energy into Void Mist, and Bai Ling visited him to ask whether he could create conversion tissue.
  • Bai Ling told Wei He that the Void Sea had vanished, Hua Yue was still searching the ruins, and the three great clans of Linzhou planned to move to the Entangling Wind True Realm.
  • Wei He concealed the Flesh and Blood Martial Arts Path from Bai Ling, then reshaped his appearance and left his mountain retreat to visit the Wei family and the Xuanmiao Sect.
  • Wei He discovered that the Xuanmiao Sect had dwindled to a village and that its surviving genealogies were kept in the ancestral hall.
  • Wei He traced Ding Luoying, a descendant of Liu Ning'an, to a dance training center in Quanzhou City, where she taught children.

Ch. 628The Passing Years, Part Two

Wei He encountered Ding Luoying and learned that the Wei family had vanished from contact with the Xuanmiao Sect. After he disappeared before the two women, officials in the Seracna Federation authorized operations to capture more supernatural beings, and Michel sent Star Teams to the Eastern Continent.

  • Wei He left the dance center after seeing Ding Luoying teach movements based on Xuanmiao Sect martial arts.
  • A girl in red recognized the Xuan character on Wei He's hand and brought Ding Luoying to meet him.
  • Wei He told Ding Luoying he had been her grandfather's teacher, then learned that her family had lost contact with the Wei family for generations.
  • Wei He vanished before Ding Luoying and her friend, leaving Ding Luoying questioning the stories her grandfather had told her.
  • Michel and the Seracna Federation officials authorized captures of Demon King Bai Ling and Mutated Martial Artists, and Michel deployed Star Teams to the Eastern Continent.

Ch. 629Hope I

Qisha and his elite Star Warrior squad prepared to leave Sephna Second Capital Airport as he questioned the meaning of his existence. In the East Continent, Wei He found the Wei family residence abandoned, then joined Ding Luoying and learned that a faceless statue had been discovered there before the family vanished.

  • Qisha spoke with Chris and Della about his sense of being out of place, while they urged him to find meaning in their companionship.
  • Wei He searched the empty Wei family residence and found no sign of its occupants or evidence of a struggle.
  • Wei He decided to watch over Xuanmiao Sect’s descendants, and Ding Luoying and her companion arrived to take him with them.
  • Ding Luoying told Wei He that the Wei family had disappeared five years earlier and that police had found a faceless statue covered in human faces inside a wall.
  • Wei He recognized the statue as one he had encountered in the Great Yue Imperial Tomb and suspected it had opened a passage into the True World.
  • When Ding Luoying offered him protection, Wei He told her to call him Grand-Martial Ancestor.

Ch. 630Hope

Wei He learned that the modern world was hunting former Masters and Demon Kings while he searched for the Wei family's fate. When Ersha arrived to capture him, Wei He incapacitated her squad and recognized a familiar scent on her.

  • Xidia defeated Bai Ling outside Luling City and ordered his team to take him away.
  • Gera's squad killed Master Reno in Seracla as Gera spoke of defeating Xidia and Qisha and bringing down Headquarters.
  • Wei He planned to seek government records about the Wei family and wondered what had become of the Xuanmiao Sect disciples who received tissue converters.
  • Ersha and armed Star Warriors entered Ding Luoying's home to capture Wei He, but they collapsed after he released an unseen force.
  • Wei He confronted Ersha, his eyes turning white and blood-specked, and asked where the familiar scent on her came from.

Ch. 631Eldest Senior Sister, Part One

Wei He defeated Ersha and her team, then learned that the faceless statue ritual had likely destroyed his remaining family. After Ersha revealed she carried Eldest Senior Sister’s aura, Wei He prepared to interrogate her, while Sephna’s leaders discussed their failing gate and their prized Star Warrior, Qisha.

  • Wei He killed Ersha’s attackers, stopped a sniper’s shot, and recreated the faceless statue Ding Luoying had described.
  • Wei He realized the ritual had likely brought disaster upon the Wei family, then discovered Ding Luoying had collapsed while Ersha had survived his poison.
  • Ersha unleashed her tentacles and threatened Wei He with a bomb, but he stopped her and removed the device from her body.
  • Wei He demanded to know why Ersha had come for him after recognizing Eldest Senior Sister’s aura on her.
  • In Sephna, an old man ordered a replacement for Ersha’s failed mission and discussed the gate’s dwindling supply of materials with another leader.
  • The two men confirmed that Qisha remained stable and that the Primal Star Cells were inside him.

Ch. 632Eldest Senior Sister (Part 2)

Wei He took Ersha and Ding Luoying to Sephna to investigate the research base and Eldest Senior Sister’s traces. After surviving an attempted plane bombing, he headed straight for the base and unleashed his power against the soldiers waiting at the airport.

  • Wei He brought Ersha and Ding Luoying aboard a flight to Sephna, where Ersha warned that her organization would send a stronger squad after them.
  • Wei He wondered whether the creature behind Sephna’s stellar cells was Eldest Senior Sister’s Black Seal Kunpeng, while frightening a child who grabbed his hair.
  • A winged woman resembling Ersha tried twice to send miniature bombs into the plane’s turbine, but both attempts failed and she flew away.
  • After landing, Wei He sensed Eldest Senior Sister’s aura and a faint trace of true energy, then ordered Ersha to lead them to their destination.
  • Wei He declared himself a god and unleashed black qi and giant pythons against soldiers gathered at the airport terminal.

Ch. 633Advancing

Wei He broke through the soldiers at Leiton City Airport and set out with Ersha and Ding Luoying for the headquarters. General Klin ordered another force to capture him, while Wei He drove toward his destination and anticipated further trouble.

  • Wei He used his Returning True Force Black Pythons to overwhelm the airport soldiers, contaminating them into weak-grade alien beasts while sparing the civilians he passed.
  • Ersha asked to leave, but Wei He told her the headquarters had targeted her too and made her guide him to its location.
  • Wei He stopped sniper bullets and sent a Black Python after distant attackers before ordering Ersha to lead the way to headquarters.
  • General Klin learned the special unit had failed and ordered Osad to bring combat vehicles, satellite positioning equipment, and disruptors to capture Wei He.
  • Wei He drove toward headquarters with Ersha and Ding Luoying as a radio report described the airport attack; a young driver crashed his sports car beside them, and Wei He warned that more trouble was coming.

Ch. 634Advance

Wei He destroyed Colonel Osad’s artillery force after surviving its bombardment, then discovered that Ersha’s group had been diverted to a wasteland where three Star Combat Team members confronted him. The winged woman transformed into a figure identical in appearance to Yuan Du Zi, leaving Wei He facing a startling reminder of his Eldest Senior Sister.

  • Colonel Osad’s artillery force bombarded Wei He’s position, but Wei He reached the artillery vehicles at supersonic speed, crushed them, and killed Osad.
  • General Klin learned of Osad’s death and ordered the Second Division to capture Wei He and collect samples of his muscles, skin, and spinal cord.
  • Wei He, Ersha, and their companions arrived at a wasteland after discovering that their navigator had been altered to lead them astray.
  • Wei He recognized the auras of two men waiting in the wasteland as connected to Yuan Du Zi, and a winged woman joined them.
  • The three opponents activated their Star States, and the winged woman’s transformed appearance matched Yuan Du Zi’s exactly.

Ch. 635Replacement, Part One

Wei He fought a Star Warrior squad whose coordinated attacks and strange ability initially caught him off guard, but he survived Frey's poison and overwhelmed the shield-bearing fighter. The chapter ended with Wei He striking the twin-blade leader and discovering that the blow had been blocked.

  • Wei He recognized the weakened Suffocation Wind and attacked the disguised woman, while her allies joined the battle with poison, a golden shield, and twin blades.
  • The twin-blade leader activated his Second Star State and attacked at tremendous speed, while the shield-bearing man struck Wei He from behind and Frey poisoned him.
  • Frey tried to control Wei He, but his hair restrained her and he absorbed her poisonous smoke until she collapsed.
  • The shield-bearing man charged Wei He with his golden shield, but Wei He stood firm and pierced the man's head with a forceful finger strike.
  • Wei He appeared behind the twin-blade leader and struck him, but the leader blocked the attack and was hurled backward.

Ch. 636A Substitute, Part 2

Wei He defeated another Star Battle squad and reached the supposed base, where he met Qisha, the strongest Star Battle warrior. Qisha abandoned headquarters and offered to lead Wei He to Mother and the door, revealing that the base was a trap rigged with a nuclear bomb.

  • Wei He killed the twin-bladed attacker, and General Klin ordered Qisha's squad to eliminate Wei He after learning Achilles and his squad had died.
  • Wei He, Ersha, and Ding Luoying reached an abandoned military base, where Wei He tore open the barriers and Ersha identified the entrance to the door.
  • Qisha, Chris, and Della arrived; Qisha confirmed that Achilles's squad had been wiped out and said he would take Wei He to Mother, who was at headquarters.
  • Qisha told Chris and Della that he had removed their martyrdom bombs and changed sides, explaining that headquarters had planted a high-yield nuclear bomb beneath the base as a trap.
  • Qisha offered to guide Wei He to Mother and the door, and Wei He realized that Qisha shared his frustration at having to tolerate weaker opponents.

Ch. 637A Message, Part One

Wei He followed Qisha to the Starmancer organization’s underground headquarters, where Qisha fought his way inside and reached the chained black eagle he called his mother. Wei He recognized Eldest Senior Sister’s aura in the eagle but realized it was incomplete and far weaker than he had expected.

  • Qisha raced ahead toward the headquarters, and Wei He told Ersha to hide Ding Luoying while Chris and Della stayed behind to prepare for the organization’s counterattack.
  • Wei He caught up with Qisha at a concealed entrance, and they took an elevator down to the underground base.
  • Qisha killed the guards, triggered the alarm, and broke through the base toward its lowest level.
  • Qisha collapsed the layers of the base with his black smoke, and he and Wei He fell into a vast hall containing a hundred-meter black eagle and a spinning circular door.
  • Qisha called the chained black eagle his mother and inserted a pale-gold pyramid into its beak, while Wei He recognized Eldest Senior Sister’s incomplete aura in it.

Ch. 638Leaving a Message

Wei He examined the Black Gate and discovered that its Suffocation Wind was too dangerous to endure without protective equipment. As Klin awakened the black hawk and it attacked, Wei He revealed his immense strength by breaking both of its talons.

  • Wei He read the inscriptions on the Black Gate, inferred that Eldest Senior Sister had left her severed tail as a marker, and briefly touched the Suffocation Wind before withdrawing.
  • Wei He asked Qisha how to withstand the gate’s aura, and Qisha said Klin had the ruins’ only set of ancient protective equipment.
  • Klin revealed that the gate was closing and ordered the awakened black hawk, the Black King, to kill Wei He and Qisha.
  • The Black King roared and struck Qisha into the wall; Qisha then rushed at it in red light, but the hawk trapped and swallowed him.
  • The Black King attacked Wei He and drove him into a wall, but Wei He seized its claw and broke both of its talons despite its rapid blows.

Ch. 639Epilogue (Part 1)

Wei He defeated the Black King Giant Eagle and Qisha with his awakened bloodlines, revealing that neither could threaten his immense strength. After seeing Qisha's speed, Wei He removed his own heart and replaced it with Qisha's to gain the Black Seal Kunpeng bloodline.

  • Wei He found that Black King and Qisha were short-lived, immature beings whose power was poorly controlled, and he shrugged off Black King's attacks.
  • Wei He unsealed his second and third bloodline layers, growing stronger and faster before severing both of Black King's wings and crippling it.
  • Qisha burst out of Black King and struck Wei He with a crystal spike, but the attack could not pierce Wei He's skin, and Wei He knocked Qisha away.
  • Qisha charged Wei He again with his Infinite Star Trace Blade, but Wei He struck him aside and seized him by the neck.
  • Wei He removed his own heart, pulled out Qisha's heart, and replaced his heart's bloodline to gain Qisha's extraordinary speed.

Ch. 640Finale (Part 2)

Wei He killed the Black King, survived two nuclear missiles, and learned that Qisha and the Black King had been cultivated from Yuan Du Zi’s body. He tracked down Klin, who had planned to capture him and use his family and Ding Luoying as leverage.

  • Wei He killed the Black King, revived Qisha, and flew with him out of the underground fissure.
  • Qisha told Wei He that Klin had launched two nuclear missiles, and Wei He destroyed them with boulders before they could reach the Daoist Sect.
  • Wei He told Qisha that he and the Black King had been created from Yuan Du Zi’s Dharma Body, then decided to find Klin and the equipment for entering the door.
  • Klin discussed plans with a mysterious silver-snowflake projection and intended to capture Wei He, using Ding Luoying and the Wei family to control him.
  • Wei He and Qisha appeared in Klin’s study, where Wei He identified Klin using the tracking poison gas he had placed on Ding Luoying and Ersha.

Ch. 641Entering the Door

Wei He forced Klin to reveal the equipment needed to enter the door and secured a protective suit, then arranged for Ding Luoying and the others to protect the Wei family and Xuanmiao Sect while he prepared to explore. He left Qisha with the revelation that Star Warriors descended from his Eldest Senior Sister’s bloodline, making them kin to the Xuanmiao Sect.

  • Wei He used poisonous smoke to control Klin and learned the door equipment was in a safe in Klin’s bedroom.
  • Klin opened the safe and gave Wei He the protective suit, which blocked radiation but could not protect its wearer from other dangers.
  • Klin told Wei He that Bai Ling had escaped and rescued 126 demon experimental subjects from Linzhou.
  • Ding Luoying and Ersha arrived, and Wei He removed the True Energy seed he had planted in Ding Luoying’s hair.
  • Wei He said he would settle remaining matters before entering the door and ordered Ding Luoying, Ersha, and Qisha to protect the Wei family and Xuanmiao Sect.
  • Wei He told Qisha that Star Warriors were cultivated from his Eldest Senior Sister’s tail and shared the Xuanmiao Sect’s bloodline.

Ch. 642Entering the Gate (Part 2)

Wei He convinced Qisha and the Star Warriors that they descended from the Xuanmiao Sect, while preparing to enter the Black Gate and explore the Suffocation Layer. After learning the truth about their origins, Qisha and the others watched as Wei He said goodbye and stepped through the gate.

  • Wei He used evidence about the Star Warriors' origins to persuade Qisha and Ersha that they were connected to the Xuanmiao Sect and promised to help find their mother.
  • Over the next three days, Qisha and the Star Warriors traced their origins to Yuan Du Zi's severed tail and confirmed their connection to the Xuanmiao Sect.
  • Wei He prepared to enter the Black Gate as General Klin and research leader Crowley briefed him on the dangers beyond it.
  • When the Black Gate's radiation weakened, Wei He said goodbye to Ding Luoying and the others, then stepped through the gate.

Ch. 643Exploration I

Wei He entered the Black Gate and adapted to the Suffocation Layer by grafting a beetle’s compound eye onto his shoulder, giving him limited vision. In a chamber, he found a warning left by Eldest Senior Sister and watched a recording of Yuan Du Zi fighting two armored figures before vanishing.

  • Wei He spent hours moving through the darkness until he found a glowing beetle and used its compound eye to gain faint vision.
  • Wei He followed a flesh-covered corridor into a chamber and found a partly obscured warning written by Eldest Senior Sister.
  • Wei He activated a wall device that displayed a vast wilderness and a massive black bridge.
  • Wei He recognized Yuan Du Zi battling two dark-red armored figures in the display, saw her fall behind, and watched all three disappear.

Ch. 644Exploration, Part Two

Wei He explored a flesh-covered spacecraft, escaped a deadly flesh moth, and adapted part of its hearing organs. He met a scavenger who mistook him for one of their own and agreed to follow them for help and information.

  • Wei He entered a vast hall covered in living flesh and was attacked by a flesh moth that pursued him through the corridors.
  • The moth crashed into an invisible purple barrier and died, allowing Wei He to collect and absorb some of its auditory organs.
  • Wei He regained limited hearing and noticed a suited scavenger gathering the moth's remains.
  • Wei He spoke in several languages until the scavenger recognized the Demon Race common language of Linzhou and asked whether he was a scavenger.
  • The scavenger warned Wei He that his protective suit's radiation readings were dangerously high and offered to take him back for an anti-corrosion injection, and Wei He agreed.

Ch. 645Future, Part One

Wei He crossed the purple light wall with Assam Redo and entered a radiation-contaminated wasteland, where he learned about the nearby Hidden City. Meanwhile, Komola detected a radiation flare at the ruins and sent a team to investigate, while Assam realized Wei He could not afford basic survival supplies.

  • Wei He followed Assam Redo through a gap in the purple light wall and traveled with him across the dust storm.
  • Komola and a silver-haired officer detected a brief radiation surge at distant ruins and dispatched an exosuit squad to investigate.
  • Assam brought Wei He to Number Five Shelter, also known as Hidden City, and explained that its residents relied on radiation injections to survive.
  • Wei He considered how to conceal his identity and find a way to accelerate his progress toward the Grandmaster realm.
  • When Wei He said he had no money, Assam realized he could not afford even a basic radiation injection.

Ch. 646The Future, Part Two

Wei He reached the entrance to Hidden City without an ID card, and Assam explained that Wei He could prove his humanity by demonstrating his talent for piloting a colony body. Meanwhile, investigators traced Wei He’s path through the ruins and judged the radiation he left behind to be weak; the chapter ended with Wei considering how his exceptional physical strength might combine with a colony body.

  • Assam offered Wei He a radiation injection and explained that people without protective suits could go outside by piloting colony bodies.
  • Wei He realized he had no ID card at Hidden City’s guarded entrance and considered leaving rather than risk being treated as a contaminated beast.
  • Three white-furred investigators entered the ruins, traced Wei He’s movements, and measured his residual radiation at no more than Level 2.
  • Assam revealed that he had sensed Wei He’s psychic energy and offered to help him prove his colony body talent to gain entry to Hidden City.
  • Wei He learned that psychic energy controlled colony bodies and recognized similarities to the Cancerous Cell Path he had created.
  • Wei He considered how a colony body might amplify his unusually powerful physique.

Ch. 647Tracking (Part 1)

Wei He entered a hidden city and was guided by Assam toward its training center to register as a spirit-energy talent. He arrived at the registration office, where he met Castor while waiting in line.

  • Assam brought Wei He through the hidden city entrance after the guards confirmed Wei He had spirit energy talent.
  • Assam flew Wei He through the underground city in his aircraft, gave him a language database, and explained that he needed an identity card to get around.
  • Assam took Wei He to the training center, gave him a bag, and sent him through the gate alone, urging him to train and get a radiation shot.
  • Wei He rode an elevator to a registration office and joined a line of three people with spirit energy fluctuations.
  • Castor introduced himself as a member of the Yisha tribe and said he and Wei He would be assigned training together after registering.

Ch. 648Tracking (2)

Wei He entered the Hidden City, used a radiation needle to conceal his Returning True Energy, and faced a search by White Tower personnel tracking a contaminated beast. He avoided exposure by sending a piece of his own flesh to draw the hunters away, then resolved to keep a low profile.

  • Three bio-armor soldiers entered the Hidden City to hunt a contaminated beast they had tracked from the ruins.
  • Wei He drank the radiation needle Assam had given him and studied a book about bio-armor, though its specialized translation was unreadable.
  • Kao brought Oman and Fright to Wei He's room for a routine inspection, and the two White Tower personnel recognized an unusual radiation scent on him.
  • Oman and Fright suspected Wei He might be the contaminated beast, but a piece of his flesh darted out from under the bed and drew them away.
  • Oman and Fright killed the decoy and apologized for suspecting Wei He, who saw that the hunters had destroyed a large portion of his separated flesh.

Ch. 649Descent (Part 1)

After the inspection cleared some suspicion, Wei He joined Hidden City’s military training and studied its history and armored bodies while seeking a path to higher rank. More than a month later, basic training was nearly over, and the trainees began the next stage: sparring combat.

  • Fright and Oman examined the contaminated beast and decided the suspicious newcomer would be observed, while leaving further checks to the inspection squad.
  • Wei He learned that the planet was resource-mining world 228, discovered the history of the All-Humans and their Dream Realm Project, and found no trace of Eldest Senior Sister.
  • Wei He asked instructor Holv about armored-body grades, combat strength, and military advancement, learning that killing contaminated beasts earned military merit.
  • Wei He spent more than a month studying at the library, training, and cultivating psionic power, then received the Penza Military Psionic Method.
  • Holv led the trainees to begin the second stage of training through sparring combat.

Ch. 650Arrival (2)

A horde of pollution beasts poured through a portal into Planet 228 as Wei He dominated his training and caught Instructor Holv’s attention. When an alarm signaled an attack, the trainees were ordered to take Battlesuits and enter actual combat, giving Wei He an early chance to prove himself.

  • A dark opening appeared above the Bigu Great Desert, releasing countless pollution beasts that spread into the surrounding regions.
  • Wei He won the unarmed combat match, impressing Holv with his combat skills and rapid psionic progress.
  • Kao questioned Holv about Wei He, and Holv said he planned to recommend him for intensive training after actual combat.
  • An alarm sounded, and Holv assembled the trainees and announced they would receive Battlesuits and immediately fight pollution beasts.
  • Lolsa challenged Wei He to compete over who would kill more pollution beasts, but he dismissed her and focused on proving himself.

Ch. 651Facing the Enemy

Wei He and the recruits equipped themselves with Liva colony suits and tested their capabilities before being sent to intercept contaminated beasts. As two fast cannon-fodder beasts attacked, Wei He held back to observe the fight and assess their strengths and weaknesses.

  • Instructor Holv led the recruits to the underground armory and explained how to wear and control the living colony suits.
  • Wei He merged his psychic power with a basic Liva suit, reached its control limit, and was launched to the surface with the other recruits.
  • Wei He tested the suit and found it could deliver up to five tons of punching force at twice the speed of sound, while he studied its biological structure.
  • Holv ordered the recruits to serve as a second line of defense against contaminated beasts after Security Department forces engaged nearby groups.
  • Two cannon-fodder beasts charged the recruits, and Wei He stayed back to observe as the beasts outmaneuvered the colony-suit fighters.
