• Wei He was carried with the retreating beast tide into a vast realm of living flesh and blood, where he encountered the Terror Cruz.
• Cruz offered to join forces with Wei He, then attacked and tried to devour him; Wei He poisoned Cruz until his body exploded and captured part of his will.

• Song Chaochao directed Yuan Du Zi and Li Rong to begin at the archives on Wulan Star, where Yuan Du Zi sensed a connection to her bloodline.
• Li Rong admitted she missed the old days, and Yuan Du Zi told her she wanted to build a homeland where their people could live safely and pursue their own goals.
• In the Star Abyss, three enormous clowns attacked Wei He after emerging to avenge Atomu.
• Wei He transformed, used eight giant bird heads to tear into the clowns, and destroyed them with the Thousand-Eyed Demon’s illusion.
• Wei He devoured the clowns’ chaotic wills, raising his psionic power to sixteen thousand before an unseen observer applauded.

Wei He fought the Deep Crimson Terrifying Human Xuanmiao, Ghost Person, and unleashed his colossal Nine-Headed Bird Dharma Body, but the battle ended in mutual destruction with Wei He more severely injured. During a lesson on psionic energy, Professor Balrid also explained the dangerous Mother River, and Wei He concealed that his battle had just ended.

• Wei He left the blood-red land after devouring two Terror Men and decided to hide while studying his injuries and digesting his gains.
• One month later, Wei He met Bilian on Wulan Star as fleets departed for war, and he learned she could not avoid military deployment.
