• Wei Yunqing and Sheng Yuhong spotted the pillar of light and fought toward it, while Wei Chenyin's group followed Cao Yi's direction toward the gate of life.
• Cultivators who had absorbed the forest's Spiritual Qi began attacking everyone around them, while the Buddhist cultivators of Yunmen Temple remained unaffected and helped the afflicted.
• Yunxi awoke unable to recognize A Dian, her parents, or anyone else, and Doctor Wang said her memory loss might be temporary after a prolonged fever.

Yunxi learned from A Dian how her brother met and married the Young Madam, then heard that she had fought her sister-in-law and been knocked unconscious by her brother. Furious that her family concealed the truth, Yunxi got out of bed and ordered A Dian to help her dress.

Yunxi broke through an illusion by forcing Hu Yingjun to remember his name, then escaped a silkworm cocoon with Ziyan’s help. She and Hu Yingjun left the area while other Secret Realm entrants remained trapped, and a new cocoon formed around Wei Yunqing and Sheng Yuhong.

• Yunxi confronted her elder brother and Young Madam in the illusion, beat her brother, and forced the Young Madam to reveal herself as Rosy Cloud, her Spirit Pet.

After returning to the sect, Sheng Yuhong struggled to save Yunqing until the Wei Family’s Old Ancestor approached him.

• Sheng Yuhong and Wei Yunqing argued over Yunxi’s place between them, and Wei Yunqing asked him to become Dao Companions after their Secret Realm expedition.
• Wei Yunqing avoided Sheng Yuhong until the expedition began, and after the disciples were scattered in the Secret Realm, Sheng Yuhong trained alone.

• Rosy Cloud told Yunxi that the floating island’s barrier had strengthened, and Yunxi held back from trying to break it after Immortal Spirit suggested exchanging the Life-Force Tree for a spirit plant from her Portable Herb Garden.
• Immortal Spirit admitted it had taken a high-grade Spiritual Vein from the Shaman Clan settlement and said it had left nearly half behind to sustain the forest space.
