• Wei Yunxi mocked Su Jing and Su Miao for their double standards and demanded that Su Jing dissolve his relationship with Feng Jiayun, reveal Su Zisheng’s origins, and keep both away from Feng Jiayun.
• Su Jing agreed to Feng Jiayun’s departure and promised to explain matters to Su Zisheng, so Wei Yunxi examined Sheng Xia in the Ice Coffin.

Yunxi then explained her motives to Lili and told Bing Li about Sheng Xia’s possession and the Su brothers’ past dealings with Feng Jiayun, leaving Bing Li to realize the Ice Soul Cicada might be intended for Sheng Xia.

The kidnappers entered a demonic cultivator city to plant an Evil Seed in Liao Ziqian, while Han Yang learned that the Little Ice Cicada had gone dormant because Liao Ziqian's body was under attack.

• The evil cultivator handed Liao Ziqian to his companions and stayed behind to delay Yunxi, Xun Kun, and Han Yang with a self-detonation.
• Yunxi and Xun Kun disrupted the evil cultivator's attack, and Han Yang joined them after protecting himself from the blast.

• Xun Kun took Yunxi and Han Yang to Shuangyu City, where Yunxi discovered an Evil Formation draining the vitality and cultivation of everyone inside.

Yunxi and Xun Kun fought the evil cultivators who had taken Liao Ziqian and turned Shuangyu City into an empty city during the battle. After Yunxi depleted her spiritual energy and withdrew her domain, Xuanyuan Wei appeared and crushed the false Mahayana cultivator with one punch.

• Qiu Mo recognized the Heavenly Demon Palace's distress signal and sent news of it back to the palace as nearby cultivators headed toward Shuangyu City.

• Xuanyuan Wei recognized Yunxi and stayed behind to interrogate the captured evil cultivator while Xun Kun and Yunxi followed Han Yang to Liao Ziqian.

Liao Ziqian successfully entered the Dao, and the group left the City Lord's Mansion to explain what happened to Xun Kun's master and the innocent cultivators of Shuangyu City.
