There was neither light nor the existence of any energy or matter.
Ever since passing through the rift, nothing but boundless void had surrounded the Azerath Universe.
Although this void posed no tangible threat, it still stirred intense unease among some of the Guardians.
The reason was simple!
They had never encountered anything like this when traveling between different worlds before.
Sakura frowned and asked, "What's going on? Are we trapped, or have we lost our way?"
"No! It's only because the previous universe's gravity was too immense, so we need a little time to break free from its restraints." Allen answered without hesitation.
It was like how a spacecraft needed stronger propulsion to leave a planet with greater mass and gravity.
Given the scale of the Marvel Multiverse, as well as the power of the laws he had gained in that universe, it would take quite a while before they could enter the next world.
"So that means we'll be drifting through this endless void for a while?" A thoughtful look appeared on Sakura's face.
Allen nodded lightly. "Yes! If my estimate is correct, it may take anywhere from a dozen to several decades. You can use this time to properly build and refine your magical domain. The void is the least likely place to suffer interference from the outside world."

Sakura answered casually, then turned and left of her own accord.
