None of the Awakened Beings who had survived since the fighting began were idiots or fools.
Or rather, the arrogant ones and those who were not quite right in the head had long since been slain in the brutal war of attrition by the Claymores the Organization had assembled.
Those who remained were mostly powerful, cautious, and cunning.
From the explosive power Teresa had displayed in that brief instant, they could all but conclude that she was a Warrior with the strength of an elite No. 1.
And a Warrior like that posed the greatest threat to them.
Throughout the Organization's history, the top-ranked Claymores had generally possessed unique techniques of their own.
With Life Energy enhancing those techniques, a single careless mistake could cost them their lives.
The Awakened Being who had just been cut in half in an instant was the best example.
In fact, by this point, the Awakened Beings under the Abyssals' control had much the same mindset as the Claymores. All they could think about was doing everything they could to survive.

Some even tried to goad other Awakened Beings into confronting Teresa head-on, hoping to test just how strong this woman who had suddenly appeared really was.
Unfortunately, no one took the bait.
What a joke!
Every Awakened Being still alive had once been an Ascended Warrior trained by the Organization, and most had ranked in the top five.
In both strength and intelligence, they far surpassed the failures who could not even retain their sense of self after awakening.
Without Abyssals like Isley and Riful keeping them in check, the infighting alone would probably have turned the Northern Lands into quite
