After Ye Qingchen and the other two left Shrek City, they were all in quite good moods. Although he did not know what Ice Empress wanted Whale Glue for, Ye Qingchen still bought it.

"When we get back tonight, fuse with that Soul Bone first. Remember to refine it with the Yin-Yang Creation Art. You'll receive unexpected benefits," Ye Qingchen said.

"Alright, understood," Wang Dong said.

"Qingchen, there's killing intent. It's directed at you." Suddenly, Ice Empress's wary voice echoed in Ye Qingchen's mind from within the Small World, where she had been cultivating.

Wang Dong and Huo Yuhao froze slightly and instinctively looked toward Ye Qingchen.

"The two unlucky kids are gone. You won't be able to leave now," Ye Qingchen said, clapping his hands.

At his shout, one of the three airborne ambushers immediately unleashed a Soul Skill. A dense azure-purple glow suddenly flared from his wings. With a fierce flap, he abruptly accelerated. He was confident that with his cultivation, as long as he got close, a single strike would be enough to kill Ye Qingchen.

Ye Qingchen swung the God Slaying Spear. An icy-blue light flashed at its tip, and six enormous icy-blue dragons pursued the attackers as though they had locked onto them. The six assassins did not even have the slightest ability to resist. They were all bitten by the ice dragons and Ice Sealed onto the ground.

The God Slaying Spear turned, and a vast blaze descended through the air covered by the domain, erasing every trace of the scene.

Atop Shrek City's walls, seven or eight figures had appeared there at some point. Old Lin and Yan Shaozhe were among them.

Old Lin smiled faintly. "That is simply his nature."

Yan Shaozhe was greatly shocked. "Could it be a divine artifact?"

Old Lin glanced at him but did not answer. He turned and walked toward the city, saying leisurely as he went, "Someone has quite a lot of nerve, bullying our academy like this. Handle it as you see fit."
