Xiao Ran secured Zovok’s cooperation, guided the Steel Dragon Squad through the threats of Baral and La Gias, and expanded Earth’s technical and military strength. The arc left the Squad preparing to receive Ing and the Sword of Earth as Xiao Ran’s forces tested the Quantum Fluctuation Engine and pursued new knowledge in La Gias.

• Xiao Ran put Yuzes to work securing the Seventh Fleet and developing the Quantum Fluctuation Engine, while Renard demonstrated the λ-DRIVER and the Frie settled on Earth.
• Alphimi challenged Xiao Ran to let the Steel Dragon Squad restore Exeline, and the Squad defeated Baral’s forces and destroyed Steel Eden without losing anyone.
• Xiao Ran negotiated a peace agreement with Zovok, gaining technology and resources in exchange for limited GN-T Solar Furnaces and an embassy on Earth.

After returning to OG World, he captured a Crystal Dragon and made it a gatekeeper while Zovok’s intentions and the Dark Brain threat remained unresolved.

• Durandal reported that mature humans could be fused with Native Species, but the procedure caused fatal Gene Collapse within three years, and Xiao Ran refused to risk his people as test subjects.
• Xiao Ran destroyed the True Naguzat with Dawn, then returned to Earth and oversaw its rearmament and the Steel Dragon Squad’s upgrades.
• Xiao Ran completed the Earth stability mission, secured the Faction Territory, and received the Ultimate Mission to destroy the Gate of Sealing.
• Xiao Ran converted OG World into a Faction Territory, recruited Yuzes, Ingram, Giliam, Shirakawa Shuu, Sanger, Elsam, and others, and organized two squads for the world.

• Xiao Ran negotiated an alliance with Naza’s Overlord Legion, agreeing to provide warships and technical support in exchange for access to its Warehouse and Naza’s guidance.
• Xiao Ran sparred with Naza and learned how her S-class abilities manipulated space, then joined his allies in a training fight that forced her to retreat.
• Xiao Ran’s team entered a world where Gamillas had devastated Earth, and Juzo Okita invited him aboard the Yamato to discuss its mission to find a way to save the planet.
• Xiao Ran pledged the Burning Legion’s support for the Yamato’s 160,000-light-year journey and offered to upgrade its mecha and share technical knowledge.
• The Yamato and Burning Legion completed a synchronized test jump, after which Ryoma, Tetsuya, Kim Kido, and Wilt questioned Xiao Ran about their machines and abilities.

He returned to Orb, reunited with his allies, and began searching for the missing Yamato while preparing for the threats that had followed them.

• Xiao Ran showed Juzo Okita the Burning Legion’s Variable Fighters, then fought Gamillas forces beside the Yamato as Setsuna and Tieria joined them.
• Xiao Ran learned that Tieria had been sent by Cagalli to find him, and he and Tieria agreed to aid the Yamato’s world while seeking a way home.

• A vast Gamillas fleet attacked after the ships escaped the rift, and a Dimensional Quake scattered the Yamato, Burning Legion, and their allies across another world.
• Xiao Ran landed in Orb with Saki and Zechs, reunited with Cagalli and his allies, and learned that the Yamato remained missing while other members of his group had been found.
