The beam streaked past and struck the Apostle's condensed AT Field. Ripples rapidly spread across the AT Field from the attack, and the Apostle's own attack stalled for an instant. Yet that very instant was enough—the spiraling beam pierced straight through the Apostle's AT Field, bored into the red orb before it, and passed clean through without slowing in the slightest.
The penetrating beam tore countless streams of red fluid from the Apostle's body, evaporating them in the blink of an eye. The Apostle, whose attack had paused for a moment, came to a permanent halt.
The beam that had pierced the Apostle continued hurtling toward the ground. It punched through the hardened surface, shot directly into a vast underground space, and finally struck the second floor of that space, triggering a massive explosion that took a long, long time to subside completely.
Once everything had settled, a huge hole had appeared in the Apostle's chest. Every drop of red fluid had been vaporized completely, and scorch marks covered not only the point where it had been pierced, but its entire body.
A few seconds later, the Apostle that had been standing upright collapsed limply to the ground. Its massive body struck the earth with a tremendous crash, but this time, that sound marked the complete end of the incident.
"It's over. We finally won't have to watch that tragic, cruel scene again..."
