Cruze and Nalo respectively relied on the GN Dragoons and their mechas' additional weapons to create a dense cage of beams that enveloped the Gedim Mobile Unit. Though both of their attacks focused on suppressing or eliminating enemies through firepower, there were still major differences between them.
Cruze's primary weapon was the GN Dragoons, which he used to control the situation and tempo of the entire battlefield. The GN Dragoons were exceptionally effective against lower-level mechas—agile, elusive, and difficult to track. Each GN Dragoon could unleash several beams in a single attack, allowing attacks to come freely from any direction and angle, making every target feel as though countless attacks had locked onto them simultaneously.
Combined with the multifunctional High-energy Beam Cannons held in both hands, he could deliver precise, high-firepower strikes against priority targets, cut apart and block enemy formations, and keep the entire battle's tempo in his hands from beginning to end. He was more like a firepower platform with powerful control capabilities. Against lower-level enemies, it was utterly crushing; they could not even tell from which direction the attacks were coming, only feeling as though they faced unavoidable attacks from all sides at once.
Cruze himself was exceptionally skilled at controlling the GN Dragoons. In some respects, his control was more flexible and harder to predict than Xiao Ran's. Elusive and uncanny were perfectly fitting descriptions. Xiao Ran's use of GN Dragoons was more violent and direct, destroying enemies through explosive firepower and overwhelming force. Cruze's attacks, however, were like an endless sea, wave after wave surging without cease, forever leaving his enemies isolated amid boundless tides with no chance to recover.
