Berserk Robots were a series of Super AI combat combination robots developed by the Legion. The Flying Eagle represented Robot No. 1 and was a new unit in the Variable Fighter line. The Giant Whale was Robot No. 5, a battleship-type robot. In battleship form, it was an ultra-small vessel only around forty meters long, a Berserk Robot modeled after the Small Macross-class. Naturally, it had no bridge. Inside was only a small control room two and a half meters high and two meters long and wide, along with several tiny spaces just large enough for sleeping, used to accommodate Legion participants and provide them with rest under special circumstances.
