One time stop had cleared out the targets capable of resisting the Time Stop Device, then one mass sleep had cleared out the targets capable of resisting sleep. After that, the Burning Legion's appearance had given the other side another fright, and they had even taken control of the enemy warships and altered their database.
After the Burning Legion vanished again, the Ghost Battleships hidden within the enemy fleet shut down the Time Stop Devices.
Several hours passed. Across the Hostile Alliance's massive fleet, every living being lay asleep in every direction. Bridges, corridors, and hangars all presented an exceptionally harmonious sleeping scene.
It was not until the first person groggily opened their eyes that more people began waking up as well. Those who awoke in different places looked here and there, at each other, confused and somewhat amnesiac.
What happened? What was I doing? What was everyone doing?
Suddenly, aboard one warship, someone leaped up from the floor and screamed in terror, "Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
Everyone who heard the cry hurriedly jumped to their feet. Though still somewhat dazed, they followed their instincts, confirmed where they were, and rushed toward their posts.
Enemy attack? There seemed to have been something like that, but why had they fallen asleep just now? And why was there no alarm?
Some people slowed their steps and became even more bewildered. Where was the enemy? It seemed there was no enemy. What about the alarm? There was no alarm either. Why had no orders come from the bridge? What exactly was going on?
The people on the bridge were even more confused. The alarm had obviously been issued from the bridge, but strangely enough, how had all those warships that had surrounded them one second ago suddenly vanished?
And besides, who had shut
