The graceful young gentleman of the past had vanished, replaced by a vengeful man driven nearly mad by hatred and pressure. Every day, he thought only of revenge, only of restoring their glory. But what did Axis have now to take revenge or restore anything?
If they had another year or two, Axis might truly gain the power to exact revenge. Even without that much time, they would at least need to wait until the Giant God was repaired. The machine had been dug out in a battered state, its entire front crushed flat as though some enormous stick had struck it head-on. Even the three cockpits they had discovered were all damaged. Because of its immense size, the machine excavated from the asteroid had been named the Giant God. Yet judging from the arm they had uncovered first, they had never expected the Giant God to be so badly damaged. It was covered in breaks, gaps, missing armor plates, and bullet scars. They had not even found a single giant weapon related to the Giant God.
