The day of rest after returning was a chance to unwind, to ease out of the tension imposed by Prometheus's missions. It was also a chance for the team to come together again after carrying out separate missions. For Xiao Ran, though, the latter mattered more. His familiarity with Mission Worlds meant he was not as lost during missions as other participants, nor did he have to worry that the next mission might suddenly arrive or that some action might trigger an impossible side quest. That familiarity and control allowed Xiao Ran to adjust himself freely in any mission, so that sense of urgency barely existed for him.
Even though El-Elf, Basak, Zechs, and Graham understood urgency rather differently from ordinary people, appropriate relaxation was still necessary. Emptying their minds completely after a mission and thoroughly unwinding counted as rest after long, hard work.
After spreading his hands and smiling, Cruze hurried off with Graham, Zechs, and Basak. To Cruze, the leisure venues in the Leisure Zone were definitely far more interesting than staying home to rest right after returning from a mission.
