Of the Skull Squadron's six mecha, five VF-27 Variable Fighters were piloted by the squadron's five male members, while the other, the Aegis Gundam inherited from Xiao Ran, was also among them. The six mecha were the first to depart from the Frontier's hangar deck, followed by MS units launched from every direction within the hangar.
Xiao Ran's Justice Gundam, Cruze's Destiny Gundam, Graham's Huckebein, Basak's Rampage, Luo's Red Dragon Gundam, and the highly unusual Camilla came next. Last were Celestial Being's four mecha.
Though the cloud mass formed by countless ELS could already be clearly seen with the naked eye, there was still some distance between the two sides. Before contact, there was more than enough time for Xiao Ran's side to complete their deployment preparations.
Behind the Frontier, two Tactical Armors were catapulted out. After their thrusters flashed several times, they successfully received the Justice Gundam and Destiny Gundam respectively. The two Solar Furnaces removed from Tactical Armor Unit 2 had been given to Celestial Being as the power source for Setsuna's new machine, while the 00 Gundam's Solar Furnaces had later been sent to the Frontier and installed in Tactical Armor Unit 2.
This seemingly redundant arrangement reflected the synchronization level of the Solar Furnaces themselves. Although the two Solar Furnaces of the 00 Gundam had achieved a synchronization rate beyond Celestial Being's expectations, they still could not compare to the Solar Furnaces produced by Prometheus. The gap meant that the 00 Gundam's Solar Furnaces could bring out the Tactical Armor's full performance, but when installed in the Innovator Custom Mecha built specifically for Setsuna, the GN-OOOO—also known as the Gundam 00Q—they could not fully unleash the new machine's true capabilities.
After the Justice Gundam and Destiny Gundam equipped their Tactical Armors, they left long white trails
