• Wang Yu was eliminated from Spirit Testing, then left for Thousand Autumn City after Wang Chongwen warned him that Wang Wu would threaten him.
• The Stone Lake City Lord sold Wang Yu and other captives to the Inverse Spirit Blood Sect, where Wang Yu became a Spirit Slave and learned he had to repay his Buying Body Money.

After Steward Xu pursued him and died in a battle with Liu Jin Xian, Wang Yu helped save her and left Profound Bone Mountain with the survivors for the Inverse Spirit Blood Sect.

• Wang Yu killed Su Qing Shan and the cultivators who tried to rob him, then stole the Grand Yin Nether Eye from a Corpse Demon in the Scripture Pavilion.
• Wang Yu blocked the passage out of the Underground Palace and hid while the remaining cultivators faced its monsters and formations.
• Wang Yu ambushed Five Yin Peak disciples, stole Profound Essence Flowers and Bone Wood, and later watched Liu Jin Xian, Gu Zheng Shun, and Situ Hong escape the palace.

As the Wei Clan and Su Yulong fell from power, Wang Yu headed for Heart Erosion City to pursue Foundation Establishment resources and was ambushed on the way.

• Wang Yu investigated ways to improve his aptitude, secured the Demonic Fetus Profound Origin Secret Incantation, and later planned to leave the sect after True Inheritor Su failed to support him.
