He became a Law Enforcement Steward and accepted investments from Yu Xing, Zhuo Shouqing, and Zuoqiu Ming, leaving him poised to develop his abilities and pursue Core Formation.

• Wang Yu captured and tortured Wang Wu, then used the completed Profound Origin Demonic Fetus to devour his spiritual roots and gain High-grade Spiritual Root aptitude.
• Wang Yu perfected Flood Dragon Strength, tempered his body through repeated battles, and used Adamantine Fluid to establish the Yin Nether Demonic Flood Dragon Spine.
• When Heavenly Void Sword Sect forces searched Black Mountain for the abducted women, Wang Yu encountered Chang Xi, escaped her efforts to involve him, and fled Withered Leaf City after killing the gray-robed old man and pursuing soldiers.

• Wang Yu entered the Cold Pool with Snow Jade, helping her evolve into a Three-Tailed Snow Fox, then spent years cultivating and preparing to take up his appointment in Guiling City.
• Wang Yu seized Guiling City from Tuoba Lei and his allies, proclaimed himself City Lord, and killed more than five hundred captives with the Spirit Sealing Life Execution Formation.
