Zhang Chen stared at the woman's face hidden beneath her black hair. Even though he had fully comprehended Devour Heart, he still could not perceive even the slightest thought within her heart.
"You clearly treat this place as a garbage disposal site, yet you deliberately left behind insight for talented descendants. No matter how I look at it, that doesn't sound very credible." Zhang Chen was somewhat doubtful.
"Believe it or not, even if you don't take the divine artifact, someone else eventually will." The woman rarely bothered explaining herself, seemingly unconcerned with whether Zhang Chen would help.
"How about this? Give me one day to think it over. I'll give you my answer tomorrow." Zhang Chen did not reject her outright.
"I'll still be waiting here tomorrow. I hope you won't waste my time."
As soon as the woman finished speaking, the elevator car doors opened on their own. Zhang Chen made a farewell gesture and quickly left. Beneath her black hair, the woman's azure eyes watched his departing figure as a tongue giving off a dark aura slowly licked around her lips.
"This is the first time I've met such an interesting man. I'll have some fun with him."
Strands of black, viscous matter began to emerge from the woman's right palm, gathering into a human-shaped doll of moderate size. Its proportions and face were exactly the same as Zhang Chen's.
When Zhang Chen returned
