The carriage Zhang Chen rode in was somewhat similar to one Elizabeth had once created.
However, the two black steeds in front were genuine living creatures; only the carriage itself was constructed from dark matter. Sitting inside, Zhang Chen was somewhat puzzled. The woman driving the carriage was clearly of no ordinary status, so why had she come alone to such a remote border region?
The carriage sped along the road. Zhang Chen observed that the scenery on both sides was not much different from the countryside of the human world, except that everything was predominantly black.
"What is your relationship with Sister Wang Yizhi?"
As Zhang Chen sat inside the carriage, the woman's voice suddenly came from the front.
"Didn't I already say? We're friends." Zhang Chen answered calmly.
"Impossible. Sister Wang Yizhi has barely even let me see such an important personal dagger a few times, much less touch it. Why would she give it to someone from the Gluttony Realm? Even friends wouldn't go that far, would they?"
"The dagger is with me, anyway. You'll know once you take me to see her."
"I'm not heading to the Dark Realm center right now. I came here to handle some business, and I can't return before it's finished."
Zhang Chen frowned upon hearing this. His time was limited, and he could not afford to waste too much of it here. The journey to and from the Dark Realm would take eight days in total, leaving him only six days within the Dark Realm itself.
"I don't have much time. How long will your business take?" Zhang Chen asked.
"I need to get rid of a group of people. At least three days."
"I'll help you kill them within one day, and I'll do it under my own identity.
