During the ten years Zhang Chen had governed Moon Creek Town, he had never let go of the matter involving "Anna." Although the case had long since ended, he still felt oppressed by the fact that he had never fully understood the events behind it.
Yet now, framed by others and with only seven days left to live, Zhang Chen had encountered Anna like this in a hospital room.
"You're Doctor Anna from ten years ago. Why?!"
Zhang Chen looked terrified, and his body began reacting violently.
The blonde young woman in a white coat merely looked at Zhang Chen and gave him a charming smile. Then she pointed at the surveillance camera in the upper corner of the wall behind her, while pressing the index finger of her other hand to her lips, signaling Zhang Chen not to make any drastic movements. Having worked as a criminal detective for four years, Zhang Chen quickly understood her meaning and controlled his emotions.
"You are... Miss Anna?" Zhang Chen asked quietly.
The blonde doctor nodded, seemingly unable to speak directly with Zhang Chen.
"Why are you here?"
Zhang Chen had already imagined a movie-like scenario involving a double's death, but a little rational analysis made it clear that Anna had died ten years ago. The only possible explanation now was that the woman before him was a Ghost.
Anna could not answer Zhang Chen's question.
"You can't speak?"
