More than ten thousand years ago, in a remote little mountain village in Huaxia Country that was nearly cut off from the rest of the world, the villagers lived simple, self-sufficient lives. Yet an unusual little boy was born there.
"This child eats far too much. What are we supposed to do if this keeps up? Our fields can't possibly feed him."
The family supported three boys and one girl, yet the six-year-old youngest son ate as much as the entire family combined. His parents were deeply troubled and had to rely on their connections to ask neighboring households for food.
However, the youngest son was unexpectedly sensible and gifted. Realizing that his appetite had become a burden on the family, he often left the village alone to search for food. When he had just turned seven, he even used a bamboo spear to bring back a huge gray bear from the depths of the mountains.
But after some time, this isolated village was discovered by outsiders, partly because the boy had ventured out of the mountains. It was already an era of advanced modern technology, and these people found such a self-sufficient primitive village remarkably strange. Moreover, they were criminals in society, originally having come into the mountains to hunt rare animals, only to stumble upon this place.
The villagers fought back desperately. The seven-year-old boy used the bamboo spear he had killed the bear with to pierce through the heads of two adults armed with high-tech weapons. But no matter what, the gap in technology made the final outcome inevitable.
All the villagers were restrained with electronic handcuffs and taken to the metropolis. What awaited them was an utterly inhuman "Great Feast of the Gluttonous"—the matter of the "Great Feast of the Gluttonous" had been mentioned previously, in
