Sephiroth: Love You, Mwah Mwah

"My friend, why did I never realize you were so amusing before?"

Sephiroth smiled and nodded in reply.

"How much did you hear?"

Chang Wei asked excitedly.

"Not much. I started from the part where you said, 'Love you, mwah mwah.'"

With a teasing note in his voice, Sephiroth mimicked Chang Wei's tone from back then. He looked both adorable and ridiculous.

"So you were there from the very beginning!"

Chang Wei complained speechlessly. He had not expected Sephiroth to overhear his private conversation from start to finish.

A trace of embarrassment showed on his face, though what he felt more was helplessness toward Sephiroth.

"You listened for that long. Weren't you bored?"

Chang Wei could not help asking. He was curious that Sephiroth had actually listened through the entire conversation so patiently.

Only after Chang Wei asked did Sephiroth realize that he had been listening for so long.

He paused slightly, then shook his head and said calmly, "No. I found it very interesting."

A satisfied smile rested on his face, as though he were enjoying this rare moment of leisure.

To him, hearing gossip about his friend was a different sort of pleasure as well.

Although he did not understand what gossip was, he felt that this act of eavesdropping brought him an indescribable sense of delight.

Seeing Sephiroth's satisfied smile, Chang Wei was speechless. He had not expected to become Sephiroth's source of entertainment, which left him not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Still, he understood Sephiroth's mood. During such idle moments, having something interesting to pass the time was quite enjoyable.

"Eavesdropping on someone else's private conversation is immoral, Sephiroth. Since you're so interested, why not find one yourself?" Chang Wei suddenly said as he looked at Sephiroth.
