Xiao Yi crouched beside the campfire, her two little hands holding grilled fish as she buried her head and wolfed it down, her small mouth smacking nonstop, her cheeks puffed out like a fathead fish that had secretly eaten an entire pond. "So yummy! Xiao Yi has never eaten anything this good before! The cooks in the clan only know how to make raw fish slices, dipped in that salty seaweed sauce. Xiao Yi ate so much of it she wanted to run away from home!"
She mumbled as she chewed, her voice filled with the surprise of someone who had discovered a new continent.
Shi Jingtian watched the girl devour her food like a wolf swallowing and a tiger gulping, then proudly puffed out his chest, rubbed his bald head, and grinned. "Of course! You don't even look at who grilled it! Back when I was in the Eastern Mausoleum Domain, I was famous for my unmatched grilled fish. Even that man-woman praised it without end!"
Tu Jiao swept him with a cold glance from behind. Rarely, she did not retort.
After Xiao Yi finished the last skewer of grilled fish, she still
