Appearance

- Gleaming bald head; often scratches it when confused or frustrated. 135 233
- Broad, muscular body suited to body cultivation. 135 426

Personality
Shi Jingtian is boisterous, straightforward, and fiercely competitive. He speaks bluntly to opponents regardless of status, often escalating disputes with taunts and challenges rather than restraint. 315 656
Behind his rough manners, he is notably loyal. He intervenes for Lu Changsheng despite only knowing him briefly, gives up the Supreme Heaven Pills so weaker companions can improve, and is willing to risk breaking into the heavenly prison to save Lu Changsheng. 213 260 519
He is impulsive and treasure-hungry, which periodically causes trouble: he awakens a Martial Venerable Demon Corpse by attempting to take its bead and repeatedly rushes toward unknown treasures before assessing the danger. 316 724 His frequent bickering with Tu Jiao—whom he calls “tomboy” or “man-woman”—is a defining part of the group’s dynamic. 233 482

History
Lingxiao Sect
Shi Jingtian meets Lu Changsheng shortly after Lu becomes an Inner Sect disciple. He enthusiastically explains the sect’s cultivation sacred grounds, identifies himself as a body cultivator, and borrows 50,000 high-grade spirit stones from Lu. In return, he promises to stand up for Lu if anyone in the Inner Sect bullies him. 135
He fulfills that promise when Chu Ling attacks Lu at Martial Refining Plaza. Shi Jingtian’s arrival as a Personal Disciple immediately suppresses the Inner Sect crowd, and he forces Chu Ling to publicly apologize after effortlessly overwhelming him with spiritual pressure. 213 214
After Lu becomes a Personal Disciple under Elder Qingwei, the two become fellow disciples. Lu selects Spirit Cloud Peak beside Shi Jingtian’s Stone Bamboo Peak, further establishing their proximity within the Personal Disciple area. 230
Expeditions and Growth
Shi Jingtian joins Lu, Tu Jiao, Qing He, and Rui’er on expeditions through the Gods and Demons Battlefield and other ancient regions. He and Tu Jiao kill the ninth-level Xuantian Realm Myriad Poison Old Ancestor, freeing Tianyou City from his oppression. 245
During the exploration of the Strength God Ancient Tablet, he supports Tu Jiao and Lu Changsheng’s attempts with loud encouragement. Although neither of his own results on the tablet is recorded, he takes pride in their placements among the ancient body-cultivation records. 263 264
He later fights beside Tu Jiao against the Fourth Demonic Son Xing You. Their coordinated assault allows them to contend with a stronger Heaven Piercing Realm opponent, though Shi Jingtian suffers injuries to his hand during the battle. 276 277
Journey Beyond the Eastern Mausoleum Domain
Shi Jingtian accompanies Lu’s group beyond the Eastern Mausoleum Domain, helping defend allies against hostile sects, ancient families, sea races, and demonic cultivators. He remains a frontline combatant during confrontations with Elder Fire Phoenix, Bai Ling, the Dragon Family, and other powerful opponents. 415 683 656
In the Three Absolutes Elder’s inheritance, the Void Sword Art chooses him by striking his head. Though delighted by his unexpected fortune, he concludes that the sword technique is better suited to Qing He than to himself. 554 557
