Naruto defeated Orochimaru’s invasion, pursued the Fifth Hokage nomination, and confronted Konoha over its concealment of his parentage. After leaving the village, he attacked Kumogakure and ended the stretch facing Raikage Ay with the Two-Tails in his possession.

• Naruto erased the First and Second Hokage with Dust Release, then helped subdue Orochimaru before rushing to rescue Sasuke, Sakura, and Shikamaru from Shukaku.
• Naruto defeated Shukaku, while Danzo learned that Naruto had become Konoha’s most prominent young ninja and vowed to prevent him from becoming Hokage.
• Naruto declared his ambition to become the Fifth Hokage, but Danzo vetoed his candidacy and Tsunade prevailed.
• Naruto confronted Danzo in the Duel Arena, exposed the Sharingan implanted in his arm, and later Uchiha Liutong captured him and concealed his death.

Naruto seized the Eight-Tails and Raikage Ay, advanced his plans for Night City and a unified world, and forced Konoha and Sunagakure to respond to his growing power. Meanwhile, Hongzhong joined the Akatsuki and defeated Kakuzu, while Naruto left Konoha with Jiraiya and encountered Tsunade at a casino.

• Naruto defeated Killer B, extracted Gyuki, and sent the altered Killer B to join Ay in the Land of Grass.
• Hongzhong infiltrated Amegakure, fought Pain’s Six Paths, met Nagato and Konan, and accepted Nagato’s invitation to join the Akatsuki.
• Hongzhong and Kakuzu investigated the missing Two-Tails in Kumogakure, where Hongzhong defeated Kakuzu and demanded four hundred million ryo to spare him.
• Naruto visited Goudan’s construction project in the Land of Grass, directed him to focus on Night City, and discussed profiting from the coming conflict and attracting refugees and workers.
• Naruto and Mizuki Tetsu devised a fabricated history of Kaguya and Hagoromo to promote unification, with Naruto presented as Hagoromo’s reincarnation.
• Naruto rejected Konoha’s offer of the Sixth Hokage position and demanded at least three hundred million ryo, while Hiruzen refused to revive Minato and turned to pressuring Sunagakure for funds.
• Sunagakure learned that Konoha had raised its demand to ten billion ryō, and Chiyo considered bypassing Hiruzen to negotiate directly with Naruto.
• Naruto left Konoha with Jiraiya to seek Tsunade, then met her at a casino, where she followed him and asked him to teach her gambling.

Naruto gained the Nine-Tails’ power, accepted a path toward leadership, and began reshaping Root while secretly recruiting Orochimaru. After a long mission kept him away, Itachi and Kisame entered Konoha, and Sasuke rushed after Itachi when he learned his brother was nearby.

• Naruto reunited with Tsunade, convinced her to support his rise to Hokage, and broke the Nine-Tails’ seal with Jiraiya and Tsunade standing guard.
• Naruto met Minato and Kushina inside the Sealing Space, learned more about his parents and the masked attacker, and gained Kurama’s Chakra Mode.
• Naruto secured Hiruzen Sarutobi’s agreement to grant him money, land, an Oil Field, and control of Root, then used Kurama to increase his power further.
• Naruto joined the Jonin Corps, celebrated with his friends, and recruited Orochimaru by offering him a new body and a role in his plan to change the ninja world.
• Naruto took over Root, won Shigaraki Tanuki and Aburame Ryoma’s loyalty, and persuaded Hiruzen to admit Root’s Jonin into the Jonin Corps.
• Naruto left on a long mission with Karin and Root members, while Itachi and Kisame later traveled to Konoha after Itachi volunteered to warn Naruto about Uchiha Obito and the Akatsuki leader.

Naruto fought Itachi and Kisame, then encountered Boruto and Sasuke from another world and killed Urashiki before they returned to their own time. Back in Konoha, Naruto turned toward reshaping the ninja world through Root as Sunagakure confronted its hardships and debated its future.

• Shigaraki Tanuki and Aburame Ryoma intercepted Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki, but their battle ended when Kakashi and Might Guy arrived and the Akatsuki members retreated.
• Sasuke pursued Itachi, while Naruto fought Kisame and then faced Itachi, who escaped with Kisame after Jiraiya arrived.
• Naruto discovered that Boruto and Sasuke had come from a parallel world, learned about the Otsutsuki, and welcomed Boruto into his home while he waited for Urashiki.
• Naruto entered Sage Mode instantly, impressed Jiraiya, and demonstrated his strength to Boruto, Sasuke, and Konoha’s young shinobi.
• Urashiki attacked Naruto and Boruto, but Naruto used sealing techniques to remove Urashiki’s Rinnegan, read his memories, and kill him.
• Sasuke and Boruto returned to their own time with gifts from Naruto, while Naruto learned that an Otsutsuki had branded Boruto with Karma.
• Naruto recycled Urashiki’s corpse, unlocked a shop module, assigned Shigaraki Tanuki to Root’s Protection Department, and declared that he would use the coming war to overturn the ninja world’s restraints.
• Sunagakure welcomed its returned hostages, but villagers complained about their hardship, and Yura left the banquet after memorizing those who had cursed Naruto.
