"Ahhh!!!"
A childish cry of pain rang out through New York's night sky, carrying far into the distance.
The instant the symbiote parasitized his body, the boy clutched his head with both hands. A gray-green haze clouded his eyes as he dropped to his knees in extreme agony.
"Get away from him!"
Someone shouted that in terror, and the crowd immediately backed away in panic. With the boy parasitized by the bizarre monster at the center, everyone except Aunt May retreated more than ten meters away.
"Peter, are you all right? Don't scare Aunt May..."
In the now-empty space, Aunt May was both frightened and worried. She reached out to help the kneeling boy up, but despite her effort, she could not move his young body.
The boy remained on his knees, his head lowered so that his face could not be seen, both hands braced against the ground. The pained sounds he made and his struggling movements gradually weakened, his whole body slipping into an inexplicable calm.
That calm, instead, sent chills down the spines of everyone nearby!
Twenty meters away.
"He picked another boy as his new host?"
Seeing the second symbiote make such a desperate choice, Tri-Symbiotic Xi Nian felt a trace of surprise, but it did not stop his decisive, cold offensive.
Pop!
A sharp, hardened black tendril pierced through the air and shot toward Peter, the boy parasitized by the second symbiote.
At that moment, Venom's voice rang out in his mind. "Something's not right. I can vaguely sense that this human child's physique is different from ordinary humans!"
As if confirming Venom's words, just before the tendril spike struck, one of the boy's small hands shot up like lightning and firmly caught the high-speed tendril!
The tip of the hardened black tendril stopped abruptly, hovering roughly a centimeter before Peter's chest.
"Hehehe!!"
A hoarse voice with a chilling edge sounded out. The boy gripping the tendril let out an inhuman, vicious laugh. Gray-green viscous fluid began seeping from all over his body. It rapidly swelled, twisted, deformed, hardened... shaping itself into a more complete and resilient gray-green armored body and outer layer!
The entire sight looked as though Peter's body had grotesquely matured, turning into a gray-green alien monster nearly two meters tall.
Gray-green, towering, and radiating strength visible from his solid muscles alone...
For a moment, Xi Nian was reminded of Abomination.
Still, its appearance differed greatly from Abomination's.
The form displayed by the second symbiote after parasitizing the boy was agile in outline without appearing bulky. Its arms and legs possessed a tough, lean quality, while a deathly pale Venom Spider pattern covered its chest and back.
"I never expected humans to possess such a powerful physique!!" Venom Spider looked down at his gray-green hand as he clenched and unclenched it. He grinned viciously, baring his fangs and extending a long crimson tongue as heat rose from his muscular, distorted body.
After parasitizing the human child Peter, the symbiote's abilities were, for the first time, displayed to their fullest extent!
He felt stronger than ever before!
The facts proved that he truly was.
Venom Spider had only tested it just now, yet he had easily blocked the tendril attack launched by Venom's host! It was a terrifying attack he had previously been completely unable to withstand!
That made him feel even more certain—he had this in the bag!
He was back in business!!
"With this body as my parasitic host, I am the true leader of all symbiotes!" Venom Spider licked his sharp, ugly fangs in exhilaration.
"Peter, Peter."
A woman's miserable, trembling voice came from beside him.
"You're not Peter." Aunt May looked at Venom Spider nearby. Fighting down her fear, she did not retreat and choked out, "Monster, give Peter back to me."
"Hehehe! I'll kill you first, then finish off Venom and the host he's parasitized!" Venom Spider sneered hideously, raising his gray-green palm and swinging it howling toward the crying woman's face.
Then a hoarse, icy voice suddenly sounded from ahead. "Have you grabbed enough?"
"Huh?!"
Before Venom Spider's palm could fully come down, he suddenly discovered that the tendril he had been gripping had curled around and seized his hand instead.
Hand in hand, but it was neither friendly nor delightful.
In that instant, Venom Spider felt an indescribably terrifying force transmit unmistakably through the black tendril, forcibly dragging his entire enhanced armored body forward!
Xi Nian's extended tendril dragged Venom Spider upward and hurled him nearly thirty meters into the air before slamming him viciously back down toward the ground!
Boom!!
The earth trembled and groaned.
Venom Spider crashed into the ground, sending shattered stone flying and smashing a crater several meters deep into the street!
"Damn it!!"
Covered in dirt, Venom Spider roared furiously as he shot out of the crater. With a flick of his wrist, he fired two gray-green spider threads, anchoring them to the tendril railing behind Xi Nian. He violently yanked on the threads, then slid through the low air at tremendous speed, kicking savagely toward Xi Nian!
The Black Cat still crouched motionlessly on the ground. While one hand remained embedded in the earth, forming the tendril railing, his cat tail suddenly whipped sharply forward!
The air exploded!
With a single smack, Venom Spider was sent flying like a swatted fly.
"How is this possible?!" His body once again made intimate contact with the ground, leaving Venom Spider utterly stunned.
Why?
Even though he had grown stronger by who knew how many times, he was still inferior to Venom's host in strength, speed, transformation, and every other superhuman ability!
Or rather—
After parasitizing a human boy with Spider Abilities, the second symbiote could better understand just how terrifying Tri-Symbiotic Xi Nian truly was!
Who was the real monster?
Venom Spider leaped up at high speed, firing spider threads toward a distant skyscraper. Seeing that he could not defeat Xi Nian, he intended to continue carrying out his strategy—run!
But the black tendrils were even faster!
A tendril swiftly coiled around Venom Spider's foot. Growing increasingly impatient and violent, Xi Nian dragged him back and forth between the night sky and the ground, hurling and smashing him again and again!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
After throwing Venom Spider around an unknown number of times,
Xi Nian finally calmed down slightly and released the tendril. Before him, the ground had already been battered into a pockmarked expanse of craters.
The dust settled.
Venom Spider lay sprawled in one of the craters. More than half of his armored body had melted away, like a damaged vehicle leaking green engine oil everywhere. He could no longer maintain a complete armored combat form.
Only one word could describe the scene—devastating!
"Can the host it parasitized still be saved?" Xi Nian forced himself to retain a sliver of reason as he asked coldly.
Venom's demonic whisper sounded. "Hard to say. That boy's physique is indeed special, but he's too young. We can only see whether he can seize control of his own body again."
He gave a savage grin. "My suggestion is not to drag this out. Just kill the host along with it!"
Xi Nian said nothing. His tendrils began to transform into a Giant Scythe, suspended above Venom Spider's head.
Little human reason remained. In his Tri-Symbiotic Form, he grew ever more bloodthirsty and cold!
