Xiao Shuang survived the Tianxin Empire crisis, advanced to Dou Zong, and helped Xiao Yan defeat Han Feng and the Soul Hall forces. He returned to Jia Ma, strengthened the Xiao Alliance, and began refining weapons while preparing for the next stage of its growth.

• Bone Spirit Cold Flame defeated Nine Nether Wind Flame, took the form of a little girl, and joined Xiao Shuang as Xiao Yu.
• Xiao Shuang killed Shen Quan for arranging Shen Xiangyu’s fall into Tian Zang Jian, then helped the Ning Clan escape the Tianxin Empire as war and Soul Hall forces overwhelmed it.
• Xiao Yu helped Xiao Shuang advance to Dou Zong, and they escaped Protector Mu and a Soul Hall Dou Zun through a spatial wormhole to Jia Nan Academy.
• Xiao Yu defeated Old Ghost of Earthly Demons, and Xiao Yan’s allies marched against Han Feng and Magic Flame Valley.
• Han Feng absorbed the Myriad Soul Devouring Spirit Array and thousands of souls, but Xiao Yan defeated him with the Destruction Fire Lotus while Xiao Shuang and Xiao Yu defended against the blast.
• After Xiao Yi Xian’s Calamity Poison Body erupted and was temporarily sealed, Xiao Yan departed for the Central Continent and gave Xiao Shuang a pill for Queen Medusa.
• Xiao Shuang delivered the pill to Cai Lin, who joined the Xiao Alliance as vice leader, while Yaoye and Xiao Shuang prepared for their child and he revealed his Dou Zong strength to the alliance leaders.
• Xiao Shuang practiced forging with Bone Spirit Cold Flame, welcomed the Ning Clan into the Xiao Alliance, and gave his first forged sword to Yaoye.

Xiao Shuang helped Little Purple claim the Myriad Beast Spirit Fire, strengthened the Xiao Alliance, and broke through to Dou Zun. He then reached the Central Continent with the Netherworld Poison Fire, where Xiao Yan prepared to rescue Yao Chen from the Soul Hall.

• Xiao Shuang helped Little Purple win the Amethyst Winged Lion clan contest and claim the Myriad Beast Spirit Fire, then aided Xiamili in killing the injured clan leader.
• Xiao Shuang returned to Jia Ma, welcomed Qing Lin and her supporters into the Xiao Alliance, and helped punish the Eight-Winged Black Snake Emperor and Lu Man without killing them.
• Xiao Shuang entered seclusion while Cai Lin led the Xiao Alliance to dominate the Northwest Region, and he broke through to Dou Zun after more than two years.
• Xiao Shuang reunited with Yaoye and their daughter Xiao Xue, while Cai Lin gave birth to Xiao Xiao and agreed to manage the alliance as he left to find the Netherworld Poison Fire.
• Xiao Shuang obtained the Netherworld Poison Fire from an ancient poison swamp, traveled through a spatial wormhole, and fought Feng Qing'er after she tried to stop him.
• Xiao Shuang reached Sacred Pill City, reunited with Xiao Yan, and gave him the Netherworld Poison Fire to refine.
• Xiao Yi Xian told Xiao Yan that Yao Chen was held at the Soul Hall branch in the Nether Soul Mountain Range, so Xiao Yan left to recruit Tang Zhen while Xiao Shuang stayed in Sacred Pill City.
• Chen Tiannan and Yi Chen demanded that the Pill Tower hand over Xiao Yan, but Xuan Yi threatened war with the Heavenly Nether Sect and Yi Chen backed down.

Xiao Shuang inherited Qin Yu’s power, returned to the Central Continent, and helped Xiao Yan’s alliance repel Soul Hall and confront the Ancient Void Dragons and Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan. After the Hun Clan destroyed the phoenixes and stole several Ancient Jades, Xiao Shuang prepared for the coming battle at Burial Sky Mountain Range while the alliance assembled a vast Cold Heaven Array.

• Xiao Shuang and his allies rescued Old Yao from Soul Hall, but Star-Picking Old Ghost left Xiao Yan near death, so the survivors escaped to Starfall Pavilion.
• Xiao Shuang defeated Old Man Mu Gu with Xiao Yu’s help, claimed the Sea Heart Flame for Xiao Yan, and entered the Ancient Realm to seek Qin Yu’s inheritance.
• Xiao Shuang completed Qin Yu’s trials, reached Seven Star Dou Sheng, and returned to Jia Ma Holy City, where he reunited with Yaoye, Xue’er, and his family.
• Xiao Shuang rescued Xiao Yan and Xun’er from the Demonic Flame Space, then revealed his strength during the confrontation with Soul Hall at Summit of Demise, where Xiao Yan killed the Soul Hall Master.
• Xiao Shuang helped Xiao Yan confront the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan and rushed to North Dragon Island, where he restrained the Northern Dragon King after he used the Dragon Transformation Demonic Array against his own clansmen.
• Xiao Shuang entered the Phoenix Realm during the Hun Clan’s attack and evacuated Jiu Feng and more than twenty young Heaven Demon Phoenixes, while Huang Tian died defending the clan.
• Hun Tiandi stole the Ancient Jades of the Ancient, Lightning, and Flame Clans and challenged Xiao Yan to bring his jade to Burial Sky Mountain Range in one month in exchange for his father.
• Xiao Shuang prepared for the coming battle by protecting Yaoye and Xue’er, gathering the Three Heavenly Demon Phoenixes into the alliance, and helping Qin Yu establish nearly a hundred concealed Cold Heaven Arrays across the Central Continent.
