Qian Bing defeated Dai Mubai, entered Shrek Academy, and passed Zhao Wuji’s assessment with the other candidates. He then revisited memories of his Pokémon ranch and went to Watermoon Ranch, where a dispute over Spirit Eggs interrupted his visit.

• Qian Bing defeated Dai Mubai at the Rose Hotel, then checked in with Tang San and Xiao Wu and bought a flawed Crystal Plate from Flander to make Dragon Beard Needles.
• Qian Bing, Tang San, and Xiao Wu arrived at Shrek Academy, where Li Yusong accepted them and Dai Mubai led them through the entrance tests.
• Zhao Wuji set the candidates a group trial, and Qian Bing helped them pass by combining his abilities and Soul Ring Spirits with their attacks.
• Zhao Wuji praised the candidates, Qian Bing treated his poisoned wounds, and a Black-Clothed Man with nine Soul Rings confronted Zhao Wuji.
• Qian Bing was drawn into the Spirit Illustrated Handbook and recalled his Pokémon training, his Little Soldier Ranch, and his search for valuable Spirit Eggs.
• Disguised as Xiao Qian, Qian Bing searched several ranches, bought a King Grade Natu Spirit Egg, and visited Watermoon Ranch with Xiao Yang.
• Xiao Yang showed Qian Bing Watermoon Ranch’s ponds, where Qian Bing considered the facilities and asked to see high-grade Spirit Eggs.
• After Mei Mei reported a dispute involving He Qing and Nan Shu, Xiao Yang went to greet them while Qian Bing stayed behind and bargained with Mei Mei.

Qian Bing won the right to choose a Spirit Egg, traded his selection rights for money and an S-Grade Warehouse opportunity, and returned to Shrek Academy. He revealed his second Spirit, competed at the Soto Great Soul Arena, and ended the stretch as Tang San prepared to seek a Third Soul Ring.

• Qian Bing won the Watermoon Ranch melee with Dragonite and Ditto, then traded his first selection right to He Qing for thirty million Alliance Coins and an S-Grade Warehouse selection, while Nan Shu bought the Totodile Egg from him.
• Qian Bing returned to Little Soldier Ranch with the Staryu Egg and asked Zhong Ren to prepare Y-Type Potential Breakthrough Incubation Fluid before traveling to the Douluo World and arriving late for Flander's class.
• Flander confronted Ning Rongrong about her pride, revealed Qian Bing's level 35 Soul Power, and bluffed that he knew Qian Bing had a second Spirit, prompting Qian Bing to reveal the Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit to his companions.
• Flander took the students to the Soto Great Soul Arena and set Silver Soul as a graduation requirement, then Qian Bing formed the Mu Qian Combination with Dai Mubai for two-on-two battles.
• Qian Bing and Dragonite defeated the Bai brothers, ending their three-match winning streak, and Qian Bing later beat Lian Xin after Dragonite countered her water attacks with Psychic Power, Ice Beam, and Thunder.
• Qian Bing revealed that his Third Soul Ring had granted Drink Milk, while the students compared their match results and Dai Mubai ordered them to rest before continuing their arena battles.

Qian Bing joined Shrek’s trip to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Oscar obtained his third soul ring and a Titan Giant Ape carried Xiao Wu away. Separated from the others, Qian Bing defeated an Evil Eye, gained a rare soul bone and a new space, then decided with Oscar to return to the academy.

• Qian Bing and the Shrek students clashed with Ye Zhiqiu at an inn before Zhao Wuji led them into the Star Dou Great Forest to find a soul ring for Oscar.
• The group subdued a Phoenix-Tailed Crested Serpent, and Oscar absorbed its soul ring and gained his third soul skill.
• A Titan Giant Ape appeared, fought Zhao Wuji and the others, and carried Xiao Wu away while Tang San pursued it and Qian Bing was left injured with Oscar.
• Qian Bing and Oscar took shelter in a cave, where they fought a three-thousand-year-old Evil Eye and Qian Bing gained a Psychic skill before destroying it.
• Qian Bing found and absorbed the Evil Eye’s skull soul bone, awakening Annihilation Black Light and a new silver domain that contained Xiao Bing Farm.
• A five-thousand-year Mountain-Sitting Tiger entered the cave, and Qian Bing and his Pokémon killed it inside the new domain, raising his level from 35 to 36.
• After waking, Oscar and Qian Bing found no sign of Zhao Wuji or the Titan Giant Ape and decided to return to the academy.

Qian Bing and the Shrek students endured Yu Xiaogang’s training, then began competing at the Soto Great Soul Arena. The arc ended with Shrek’s teams building impressive winning streaks over the following month.

• Qian Bing returned to Shrek with Oscar, reunited with Tang San, and learned that Xiao Wu had returned safely as a Soul Elder.
• Tang San revealed his transformed Blue Silver Grass and the External Soul Bone he had gained from the Man Faced Demon Spider, and Qian Bing advised him to train with both while keeping the bone secret.
• Qian Bing expanded training at his Pokémon farm, while Yu Xiaogang took charge of the Shrek students and appointed Qian Bing their battle captain.
• Yu Xiaogang put the students through exhausting physical training, and the group supported one another until they completed the course and advanced in strength.
• After Bu Le injured Ma Hongjun, Qian Bing defeated him with his martial soul, and Ma Hongjun and Tang San attacked him before the group returned to the academy.
• Yu Xiaogang sent the students to the Soto Great Soul Arena, where Qian Bing won his first one-on-one and Two-on-Two duels with Dragonite and his other Pokémon.
• The Shrek Monster Team defeated the Mad War Team after Qian Bing burned away the Bewitching Girl’s hair and spider silk, forcing her to surrender.
• Over the next month, the Shrek Monster Team won twenty-seven consecutive Team Battles, while the students also earned strong records in Two-on-Two and individual matches.
