Zi Xi publicly represented the Purple Cloud Sect during the surge of opportunities caused by the Ancient Sect Ruins. She first met Li Chang'an there, recognized his potential, and offered to accept him as a Guest Elder under her authority; he refused in favor of remaining independent. 259 271

Her relationship with Li Chang'an developed through reciprocal exchanges. She traded the Ten-Thousand-Zhang Mountain Range for his Giant Smoke Mist Stone, later signed a purchase contract for his Tier 3 pills and artifacts, and promised him protection after receiving half of the Ice Spirit Jade. 287 312

During the ruins' conflicts, she fought beside Li Chang'an against Gu Yunqi and Cui Baihong, witnessed his Quasi Tier 4 Formation Dao, and became increasingly uncertain about the true origin of his abilities. 323

Underground World and Demonic Formations

Zi Xi left for the Netherworld Domain to investigate the unexplained deaths of her disciples during the Righteous-Demonic War. 474 She was eventually trapped and injured in Red Puppet Palace, where Red Puppet True Lord used a Tier 4 formation and puppet needles to seal her mana. 482
